Title: Why do FE's proofs seem so open ended where RE proofs seem very direct?
Post by: #flatearthforever on February 20, 2018, 06:47:24 PM
After seeing many "proofs" of the Earth being flat has many different proofs, all of which have very "open" answers that leave you just satisfied enough to get by. Proof that earth is round is very "to the point" and has a definite answer. Is there any proof out there that is very direct for a flat earth?

Depends on your perspective.

Well, everything I've seen has very basic proofs like "if the sun were round how come you don't see a curve from 5 miles up?" when you're supposed to actually see some curve of the earth from roughly 62 miles up. It's these very basic and uninformed "proofs" that you people post that make this whole "flat earth" thing look like a joke.

Could you be more specific? You might know what you're talking about, but I doubt anyone else does.

Your issue there seems to be more with the accuracy or complexity of the proof rather than the directness or openness of it. If anything I'd say basic proofs are more direct.

What exactly is your point?

That’s because they have no real arguments
