Title: ☭ ☪ ⇨ What does it take to be a flat-Earther? (Round 2)
Post by: Hamzah on December 16, 2017, 04:21:46 AM
Okay, since the first topic did not go so well, I will try it again.

Hello, flat-Earthers, how are you doing? I have a question for you. What does it take to be a flat-Earther?

Why NASA? Wasn't USSR the one who went to space first?

Reject science, be an outcast, still wear diapers, trust in god, believe vaccines cause autism, have an IQ of 300+ but still are poor as fuck,
be against net neutrality, think that Trump is Worlds savior...
That are just some of the things it does take to be a FE.

Do not fear Earth shape: It is known that round Earth believers are paranoid that FEers may be correct.

Study FET: without this a person can not possibly have a rational opinion of Earth shape.

Listen to the right sources: Speak to those who travel for a living by sea, air, and land. Do not assume those who teach science in school have studied FET.

Support projects advancing FET such as the FES, mapping, vertical rocketry, and borehole ventures.

Be a voice of reason: wear you FE beliefs on your sleeve and be ready to defend FET.

What it takes to be a flattie?

Well, first off you have to be incredibly gullible to believe these far fetched FE theories over the well-established evidence. Don't use logic. In fact, coming up with fake excuses as to why Globe earth evidence is wrong is a huge part of FET. The belief in other conspiracies is a given, why not believe in them all? Make up absurd theories which can't be observed or experimented on.

Refuse to use geometry.     Refuse to measure anything.

How is this "Known"? I am approaching 60 yrs old. The shape of the earth so far has had no effect on my life.
Study FET: without this a person can not possibly have a rational opinion of Earth shape.
Which FET should we study?  You folks have  quite a selection to choose from.

Listen to the right sources: Speak to those who travel for a living by sea, air, and land. Do not assume those who teach science in school have studied FET.
Other than a few youtube videos, I don't see a lot of airline pilots, ship captains or surveyors who are FErs.
Support projects advancing FET such as the FES, mapping, vertical rocketry, and borehole ventures.
I agree with the mapping part, show me a map.
Be a voice of reason: wear you FE beliefs on your sleeve and be ready to defend FET.

Yes, there's more:

FEers are able to think independently, free of forced education where getting a grade is more important than truth.

Round Earth believers fall victim to this pack mentality. More should follow in the shoes of Einstein, who expressed credibility in FET.

And, what exactly is the truth? Putin is the king of the world and North Korea does not exists, right?

The lobster is phenomenal. Also, leaf season is not to be missed. But the ticks. The ticks are bad.

Caves though? You go to New Hampshire for those.

Anyway, if lobster was an attraction in my area it would be the first one I'd mention. (It's not) :(

These choices are not mutually exclusive.

Well, you have to be at least one of the following:

  • A LARPer
  • A moron
  • A troll
  • Insane

These choices are not mutually exclusive.

Also don't forget that your principal place of residence needs to be the basement of one of your parents, who are more often than not siblings. Said residence must have no windows to maintain complete severance with the reality of the world outside.
