Okay, just to start off, I'm going to lay down a few things. For the sake of this discussion, let's just assume that the Earth is round, and all the current rules of the universe set forth by scientists are correct. Alright, now that we have that out of the way, let's continue.
Image, the human race has technologically progressed hundreds of thousands of years into the future. We now have vast fleets of spacecraft, that can travel all over the galaxy using faster-than-light travel achieved through the use of Alcubierre Drives. We now explore new planets, have discovered new intelligent life and have now settled humans down on thousands of unique life-supporting planets. At this point, our populations have jumped well into the trillions.
In this future, there's no concept of inequality either. There are no longer problems like war (although we do have an extraordinarily strong military), racism, violence, really any of the problems we're facing today. Essentially, in short, all of the social problems we're facing today have been eliminated.
In addition, human knowledge has rocketed far beyond belief. There are now technologies that can heal injuries or ailments instantly. We now have the technology to physically live forever as well.
What would you think of living in a time period like this?

It's very important. You've described the end result of a utopia, but what matters is how it comes about. Racism could be ended, for example, by mutual cooperation and understanding, or genocide, or erasure of a culture. Is there freedom? How is what you say enforced, or is it just the case?
What you describe could be a heaven or a hell.

It's very important. You've described the end result of a utopia, but what matters is how it comes about. Racism could be ended, for example, by mutual cooperation and understanding, or genocide, or erasure of a culture. Is there freedom? How is what you say enforced, or is it just the case?
What you describe could be a heaven or a hell.
Genocide would be rasism. Let's just say that humans became less stupid and just stopped picking on each other for the color of their skin and their origins.

No thank you. I shall pass. I am sure we all look into possible future models. I think the most likely
outcome will be similar to the vision presented by the Transhumanists. Their outspoken mouthpiece,
Ray Kurzweil, presents a picture much like you describe. Problem being, their is really so little humanity left, that
our entire concept of being human has vanished. It is like there is no more testing of a mans nature. You will be mostly machine. The singularity will probably, by then, have eliminated all dissenting voices. As the prior post had said., sounds like Hell for some (Most) and "heaven " for others. I do not wish to be that elite.
OH! And by the way, the earth will still be flat as a pancake!

Which again has multiple causes. Did they stop picking on each other because of acknowledgement and acceptance, or erasure? How far would the acceptance go?
The problem is that you've described an attempt at utopia, and utopias just aren't that simple. Maybe you could handwave your answer as whatever the person reading wants or would find perfect, but if that's the case the question is meaningless. If not, then I guess the main question that remains is how is what you say enforced?
After all, I'm a product of this time. Anyone from this time will be hopelessly lost in a utopia.

The point of the OP was probably not how probable it was, only if you'd like to live in this utopia or not. Assume no violence at all was used during the creation of the utopia. I don't even know how erasure would make people less stupid. I guess dead people can't make stupid ideas, but they don't live anymore so their intellect does not impact on the stupidity of the living population.
