Title: Ever wonder what the FES forums look like in 3D?
Post by: Supertails on March 22, 2013, 01:38:53 AM
Well now you know:

This is thanks to Firefox's "Inspect element" 3D view with which you can conjure up some really interesting views of websites. To use it just load up Firefox, open a page, right click and choose "inspect element", then click "3D view" in the bottom-right. I don't know if anyone's going to bother doing this, but if you do, post any cool or neat results you get here. :D

For some fun, try using it here: http://www.dev-kitchen.com/ff3d/ (http://www.dev-kitchen.com/ff3d/)

I did it but I'm too drunk to figure it out, I had to leave 3D to reply.

Has anyone seen that virtual reality site that you can make a person in, sort of your own image and walk about chatting to others.
Imagine having a flat earth theme like that where people walk over to another and chat about all things we chat about.
If it were possible I might even take up a virtual reality dinner date with Doubter. ;)

The 3rd dimension does not exist. You have fallen prey to one of the Conspiracies greatest tricks.

however the 5th dimension does exist!

The 5th Dimension Age of Aquarius 1969 (http://#)

as an aside, how did they get their stage to float in oute space?  :o

So you're just displaying nested divs/spans on top of each other?

Essentially. Isn't Firefox truly the greatest with its advanced and useful functionality?

Something doesn't have to be useful to be neat. :(

I can barley bring myself to say it but that is a very good idea. But can you imagine the dark Lord Thork wafting too and foe demanding your loyalty and Dora jora acting as the vr Stasi ! It is a world I fear that might end in brutal assassination squads while Gayer looks for a means of escape. Round earthers would be forced to wear little globes on their foreheads and attend thought correction lectures by Tom Bishop. Oh the humanity!!!
