Since the tourism commercial was aired I noticed an abundance of members. To the Mod's and Admin's: how many new members have registered in the past week or so?

Yes, the tourism commercial is on YouTube. There is a link to it somewhere on these forums.
I laughed at the people on the site for the first day, and then got what the site was about. You'll eventually understand.
