Where are the applauding and cheering actors employees who show joy rarely found elsewhere in life as we know it, when space-X shows or accomplishes one of it’s futuristic highlights.
The sheer outpoor of emotions they express resembles what people feel when their long lost loved ones return home...
Bummer..... no joyous Space-X staff in this video..... hopefully next time ::)

Ignorant little people, like YOU, with no understanding of these things can only stand on the side-line and ridicule.
Others, knowing what SpaceX is attempting and why they are doing it can wonder if it is even possible.
Yet some years ago many said that landing the first of a rocket back on land let alone on a barge was quite impossible.
But SpaceX went ahead and did just that and not it is common practice for them when the full launch capacity is not needed.

Are you not pleased that SpaceX is attempting to keep waste and costs down by RECYCLING components from their launches?
I know this isn't the solid rocket booster recovery system, but I'm going to mention it anyway because they've made such a big about it, and it bothers me slightly.
It looks cool and everything, but the space shuttle SRBs were actually recovered and reused. Only the big orange liquid fuel tank was expendable. The ESA's Ariane-5 uses the same system now for it's SRBs (there may be others). Both with a far simpler and more fuel efficient system - parachutes.
The main problem is splashing down in the ocean isn't particularly good for the engines, which have to be completely stripped, cleaned and inspected before they can be reused.
So as far as I can tell, there's no actual environmental benefit to Space X's fancy system, it's just more efficient in terms of time and manpower. Although maybe Space X's engines are more prone to damage from landing in the sea?
Anyway the whole thing seems a bit mis-sold to the public to me.

In time it'll likely cost 5 billion for the self peeling mickey mouse effigy they'll put on a rocket and return to Earth via a mini mouse pinafore chute to land smack bang in the middle of a specially made sailing mouse trap. ::)

Actually, the whole point of recovering the payload fairing and the first stage booster is to make space flight cheaper, not more expensive. As it is, SpaceX is charging half or less than the competition for comparable satellite launch services.

Yeah and he can achieve it by putting a rocket motor in the centre of a big cable laying ocean going ship, tipping it vertical and have the exhaust just cascade from the port and starboard so that ship can just kick its own guts into a frenzy whilst unrolling the cable.

Or, maybe they took the arms off so that Mr. Steven would have an easier time going through the Panama Canal so that it can try some east coast fairing recoveries.

I just thought it was interesting watching the general lax nature of Space X employees.
