When civilian space travel becomes possible in the near future for vacational reasons, will an FEers go into space and see for yourself if the earth is a sphere or not?
This, of course, is assuming any of us normal people can afford this.
-
The Conspiracy deliberately keeps most of us poor.
-
Oh do NOT even go there. If you live in America, the only one keeping you poor is yourself! This is the land of opportunity where anyone can do anything and the possibilities are endless. And i see Dogsplat, you live in England, so nearly the same holds true for you.

....Please.
oh god please... PLEASE.
Tell me you're not serious.
-
The Conspiracy stole my children, my house, and my dog.
-
And killed my fish, and stole my virginity. Oh, you pesky Conspiracy! What troublesome adventures will you get into next?
-
I will go into "space" and witness the FE for myself, thus proving you all wrong. And you call us the idiots?

Not true! The only one keeping you poor is the government, and the past!
Capitalist government + Anti-communist/socialist Past = Bourgeois + Proletariat
Solution: Revolution. Or make the government spend so much money (like in war) that it collapses and a natural anarchist communist autonomy develops ;)
That’s a cool idea. “The War on Terrorism is a grand scheme of Communists to destroy the U.S. in order to create a New World Order.”
Adding this to Alternate Science!

Oh man. Are you really this naive?
I'm guessing by the sentiment expressed in your post that you either still live with Mum and Dad, or you are already fantastically wealthy beyond actually having to work.
Anyone who's had a wage job and had to support themselves knows that the American Dream (or whatever the international alternative) is essentially a crock of lies.
The only person keeping me poor is myself? So I can magic myself a vast salary despite my current employer being the highest payer willing to hire me? I'd better quit right now and bring out my financial wand!

Like Socialism and Communism then?

Yes.

Interesting. So in sort what isn't a crock of lies? The fact is, in Britain and America have it fairly lucky. Like it or not that's the truth of the matter. There are opportunities there for all to take. It is harder for some people to take them than others, but they are there.

Here's an idea, why not add Google ads to the site? A site with this much traffic could generate a truck load of cash over a very short period of time. You could save it up in a general fund to put one of you in space with high quality camera equipment, then come back here with photographic proof of the Flat Earth?
What are you waiting for? Get crackin' people.

Not everyone can reach the American Dream. It is possible though.

They have the American Dream in England?

You realise there's more to politics and society than clear-cut ideologies based on maxims in stone right? Rejecting absurd Thatcherism doesn't make you a marxist.

We have it better than the third world, but that doesn't mean we should pretend that we could all live like kings if only we weren't lazy communist slobs (as Agent_Fishmonger seemed to be implying).
