I've played Liero Xtreme ( http://lxalliance.net/lierox/ ) for about 3 years. It's an online version of the original Liero, if anyone remembers that game. It's like a realtime Worms, only with more weapons, more action and more blood. Liero is  an old classic from the nineties. ^^

My Finnish friend Juho got me playing LieroX.  The controls are so terrible, but it's a fun game.

I've only played it a few times.  Any time you see anything to the effect of "Nomad," "The Digital Nomad," or "DigNomad," it is probably me.

I play CS (v1.6b and Source, depending on my mood), Tremulous, Battlefield (1942, 2, and 2142), Age of Empires (Two or Three), and on occaision Guild Wars.

I have a passionate dislike for World of Warcraft as well as most MMORPGs. Personally, being a huge roleplaying gamer, I feel they totally and completely ruin the feeling of an RPG, and usually they fuck up everything, and have no "role playing" in there in the first place. Only two MMORPGs that I've ever liked were Star Wars Galaxies (that is, BEFORE it got raped in the ass by LucasArts >_<) and Guild Wars.

LOL! Liero FTW! I used to play that on the media computers at school - as well as UT. haha

ATM it's DotA FTW, as I only have a crappy laptop to play on. :D

ET is very addicting, but i am very horrible at it... so i dont last long  :(

Ah, I think I'm decent, I usually do well on most servers I play on. I love that game so much because it's a multiplayer shooter with more than just random fragging; there are objectives to be accomplished which makes it feel very realistic.

Got Ubuntu running?

HEY, I've got a question for you!  Have you tried running any linux compatible PC games on it yet?  My friend Derek and I are very curious on how games would react to the CPU.

I signed my life over to Blizzard over Christmas vacation. Now I am addicted to World of Warcraft.

I just honestly could never get addicted to Wow.  And I seriously tried, because I don't have much else to do during my day, and I could probably seriously own.  But it is so boring!  I think I've said before on these forums, that I am getting really tired of turn-based MMOs.  Autofight is so boring.  WoW would be much more bearable if you could dodge, and jump, and do other such things to break the monotony.  Most you can really do is "circle strafe", but you're still autoattacking, and it doesn't take any skill.

I still find it fun though.

And I bet you would like Oblivion.

Now, I'd love to experiment, but I really don't want to take even a minor risk with my PS3. I do not want a $700 brick lying on the ground directly in front of two perfectly good gaming computers.

Of course, there's also the issue of hard drive space. And the issue that my brother owns 50% of this machine and 50% of the time he is a fraking retard.

I've only played it for the 360, so I don't know what its like for the PC. But most PC RPG's involve a lot of clicking.

Try Gothic. The battles are realtime but definetly not clickfests. You actually needs to think and use tactics, unlike Oblivion where all you need to do is get a good weapon+armour and you're good to go  (clicking, that is).

Like the PS3 has a one year warranty on it for nothing.

In all seriousness, some friends and I have started a new clan, called IBPGFBISS--which stands for I've Been Playing Games Forever But I Still Suck.  It is for those of us that don't have elite reflexes, and super accurate aim.  It's for those of us that want to play multiplayer online games, but suck too badly to join public servers--For those of us that want to have some damn fun with games, and not worry so much about being good at them.

Although, once we do some playing together, we might brave some public servers on some games.  If you ever see anyone with a {aBISS} clan tag, it's probably us.

Anyone who's interested in joining, join our parent forums at http://z8.invisionfree.com/thy_abyss!

Nah I don't have a legit copy - plus it would be hella laggy from over there. I play on an Aussie Server called BoredAussie (http://pvpgn.boredaussie.com/). I actually only started playing last year!
