Try everywhere south of the Antarctic Circle on Dec 21, 2017 (for you in SD, it will be Dec 22, 2017 here).
Then at the South Pole from Sep 21 to Mar 21.
It looked pretty bright there a few hours ago!

Isn't it normal? One side of the earth will get sunlight for 6 months and other sides will remain dark that time. I am a simple man and I use the flashlight in the dark :). I don't want to go that kind place where light is always available. My favorite flashlight list https://theeffectiveguide.com/best-tactical-flashlight/

It is not standard practice to speak in absolutes about things you haven't proven to be so

There's Antarctica around the outside rim!

And
Quote from: The Flat Earth Society Wiki
The Ice Wall
The figure of 24,900 miles is the diameter of the known world; the area which the light from the sun affects. Along the edge of our local area exists a massive 150 foot Ice Wall. The 150 foot Ice Wall is on the coast of Antarctica. It is widely known and widely studied. The Ice Wall is a massive wall of ice that surrounds Antarctica. The shelf of ice is several hundred meters thick. This nearly vertical ice front to the open sea is more than 50 meters high above the water's surface.
What better authority can I offer? A satellite photo of the Globe?
