I'm someone who believes in what makes sense to them. Try to convert, ridicule (keep it relevant) or ask any questions you have about the round earth!

If the Earth is round, then why do ALL our observations confirm this? That's just a little too perfect to be true, right? So isn't that proof of a conspiracy?

That's easy! We don't need any new equations.
At the altitude of geostationary satellites, 35,786 km, the centripetal acceleration exactly matches the gravitational acceleration.
So, if the atmosphere at that altitude rotated at the same angular velocity as the earth (I don't believe it would, but just assume it does) there would no longer be any nett attraction to keep it on the earth.
But, at that altitude, the mean density of the atmosphere is only 4.04 x 10-19 kg/m3 compared to 1.225 kg/m3 at sea level.
That density would be far better than an extreme high vacuum.
In other words even if the atmosphere at that altitude were rotating with the earth there is simply not enough there for diffusion to matter.
Actually at that altitude an insignificant amount of atmosphere is lost but some gases are also collected from the Solar Wind.

Well that was easy. I have a confession to make. The main reason I commented on this thread was to see if I could get back on Intikam's list. It was quite peaceful on his old list, and when I saw that he was back, I just knew that I wanted my old place back. Home sweet home. Anyway, mission accomplished. Carry on people.

Since I am the only one who posted any equations, I assume you are talking to me. Those equations are shape-agnostic. They would be the same whether the earth is a sphere, pear shaped, flat, or a donut. Although, you may have to generalize the z coordinate to mean any point in space, instead of just altitude.
Please solve your age old concrete evidence of the globular model with the updated model of globular Earth.

You are believing your ancestors were animals, then i should is as true for yourself because it is about yourself. I'm believing my ancestors created by God, so you should to accept it for myself because it is my belief and you should not force me to change it. So our ancestors are what are we believe to.

Evolution is not a strong theory because there isin't millions of intermetiate transitional forms. For example, if we came with same ancestors with monkeys, where is other forms like "humanoid monkeys?".
Human: well on complex thinking, well on complex talking. Monkey: weak on thinking, no or weak talking (thinking and talking as all animals, not more).
So where is the form as half human-half monkey? A group has like properties of "intermediate on thinking, intermediate on talking". And some group half human-half monkey. Where are they? All of us are human and all of monkeys are monkeys. There is no intermediate forms. Do not try to referree some animals as intermediate forms because we need millions of forms. A little bones can't prove anything.
Evolution is a lie like round earth theory. This is a satanist attack to all over the world aims to destroy faith in God. I am reading about the shape of our earth for a decade now, beginning with Mustafa Abdelkader's mathematical absolute correct inversion of our helio centric cosmos.
His concave earth is nothing like what this dude ''Lord Steven Christ'' claims, but irrefuteble till date. (not so many know about this though, which is very strange.......)
From last year or so i began to read about the flat earth and what intrigued me the most is that the curve is way, way harder to proof than i expected.
For every video claiming ships and buildings that are going over a curve, much better video's are made showing things that shouldn't be visible at all from a given height and distance !!!!!
My question is :
Why did the scientific community never raised their voice when everyone was claiming they had seen the curve from a plane, mountain etc. ?
I myself wanted to call the studio, because yet again a mountain climber claimed he saw the curve from the top of the Mount Evrest......wow
And now at LAST, we hear globers claim you have to go 100km in the air/space to see some real curve.
But they never did and it seemed the scientific community was all comfertable with those ''seeing the curve'' statements.
If there wasn't a flat earth moverment, everyone would still be claiming the visible curve from very modest heights and the scientific community applauding them for such accurate observations.
I have a really hard time in simply accepting this as some form of ''update'' by the globers.
