My eyes tell me that the sun rises and sets exactly like it would on a globe. My eyes tell me that a ship disappearing over the horizon is exactly what would happen on a globe. The fact that the sun stays the same size as it moves across the sky tells me it is very big and very far away and looks exactly like it would if we lived on a globe. The way the light hits the top of the mountain first in the morning and leaves it last in the evening is most simply explained if we live on a globe.
