With my telescope I have seen Jupiter and it's moons moving in circles around it. I've seen saturn and it's rings in great detail with my naked eye. I've seen satellites burn up in the atmosphere and meteor showers.
I can see the Gravitational Microlensing through tiny holes in plastic, to around the edge of the sun.
I've also been 60,000 feet up in the air and saw the horizon drop.

I bet you even captained the USS Enterprise, right?

"Please refrain from low-content posting on the upper fora."
But now I'm memberating aren't I?

Please refrain from memberating. Thanks.

I too would like an answer to this. My sister has a heavy duty telescope she is vey proud of and has seen other planets with it, not just the moon. I heard that other planets could be stars but I don't buy it, seems too simple an explanation. Is it only Earth that is flat?

I find this hard to believe.

Just as I predicted.

I't not possible. I asked my sister if she has seen the planet or the ring with her telescope and her answer was "no."

Then she is NOT looking at Saturn. A decent 6inch can see it and the rings. I've seen Saturn and the Rings with an 8 inch from our barracks parking lot at Offutt AFB in Omaha NE in 1973.

Yes, it's not possible without a telescope. It looks like a normal star without one, but I have seen the rings with a telescope.
EDIT: Don't remember size of telescope, but it was pretty small.

Ya, because your sister is a renown astronomer!
Use a celestron NexStar 90SLT Mak computerized telescope and then try to argue with me on that.
Any religous flat earth theories fall apart once I mention that the Bible puts Jerusalem in the center of the world.
And king james dipshit paraphrases God, "I put Jerusalem in the center of all nations."
Ancient Greeks knew the world was round and were able to calculate the circumference of it down to 10 kilometers!
It's etched in stone!
Hahahaha!

Graduate Highschool in a conservative state and you'll know exactly why you don't fly to the back of an air plane when your feet leave the ground. It's a combination of some very elementary concepts like momentum, acceleration, and reaction.
If the earth were held by electronagnetic forces, then you would fly to the back of the plane, if you miraculously get it flying in this situation.
Did you know things are heavier on the poles than the equator? Electromagnetic flat disk earth would need the opposite to be true.
Lastly, going through the van allen radiation belt would be like getting an x-ray, just with weak particle radiation. Good thing it's beyond UEO.
I'm sorry, it's just that you guys gotta have something better to do than tricking dummies into thinking we live on a flat earth.

Welcome the site.
Most FE people are anti-math and education.
