Because, well...that's been disproven.

Plenty of dino bones are found with soft tissue. Maybe they are not so old.

As a Christian, I see the works of God before me. He put it all in motion. His Laws say Earth is 4.5 billion years old and the Universe at almost 14 billion. I trust He knew/knows what He is doing.

Do you have anything to support this statement about "his laws" I find it interesting.

He set it all in motion. And being God He cannot set the laws of physics and then do something different just to lie to us.

Oddly enough we don't know the shape of the universe. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shape_of_the_universe
Funny thing I noticed when reading this.
Quote
To test whether a given mathematical model describes the universe accurately, scientists look for the model's novel implications—what are some phenomena in the universe that we have not yet observed, but that must exist if the model is correct—and they devise experiments to test whether those phenomena occur or not.
Going back to talking about the earth, has any flat earther made an experiment like this?
