Title: Why they want to lie and say the earth is round?

This is mainly directed to non-believers in God that believe in FE. I know Christian flat earthers will say "to deny God existence" (which is completely unnecessary as the Bible never claim that the earth is flat), but why non-believers believe that they're lying to us? What's the motive?
