Title: FE proof
Post by: guv on July 25, 2014, 05:50:35 PM
I live near a town called Mt Helena so you can guess what I can see out my window. I have never heard any flat Earth proof that the Earth is flat that will stand up against logic. Australia is a real flat place but it has bumps, maybe FET should go more like, this place is flat with bumps and it sags at the edges a lot, Like till it meets the other sagging side. All I want is one bit of FET that works.
Why is this so hard.

Why is this so hard.

Because it can't work.

Just one thing though, what do you see outside your window? The San Andreas fault? Volcanic rock? What?

I see trees and hills and more trees and hills.

As an aside...

I used to live on the corner of Bailey and Thomas roads.

I'm sure intuition alone couldn't indicate whether or not the earth was flat (or curved) by looking out from the windows there.  So how do the flat earthers reach such a positive conclusion when they look out from their windows?

No guv... I didn't even know about it then.  Have you tried it out?

Used to get stoned there a lot back in the 70s, its in the road map now. Don"t know if it is a real gravity anomaly or not but even the water in the gutter is on the piss. Winds blow through there the same direction a lot so the trees lean all the same way and there is no flat reference because of the hills but Shit go and have a look. If it is a gravity anomaly it stuffs up this UA stuff.
