Title: Can anyone answer these questions?
Post by: TruthSeekerM on December 08, 2013, 10:51:02 PM
Hi,

I am new to this forum.
I have few questions for those who believe earth is flat.

I have more questions to ask but as of now I think above questions will clear my doubt.

Regards

Hello, and welcome to these fine fora.  I will try to answer your questions for you.  I just ask that you understand that I do not speak for the society as a whole.  Also, in the future, please make a new thread for each of your questions.  You will get much better answers and the threads will not get as confusing.

1.  Why do you ask theoretical questions that you and I both know can never be tested?  You are asking me to guess, so I will.  If you had an infinitely long drill bit, then I would suppose that you could probably drill to the other side, since it makes sense to me that there must be a bottom to the flat Earth.

2.  Looking through a telescope produces a two dimensional view of an object.  Please do not pretend that you have a magical telescope that allows you to see depth.

3.  I believe that there is likely an edge to the flat Earth.  As far as I know, no one has been there and returned, though.

4.  I do not believe the Earth's surface is endless, but yes, the celestial objects orbit above the Earth.

Okay. In future I will make a new thread for each question.

1. When you say "Earth is flat" I am okay with it and when I say I will drill the surface of ocean (which is technically possible) you are not okay with it. Unfair.

2. So that's why there is physics and trigonometry. (You must be knowing distance between sun and earth, it doesn't mean I will assume that you that that magical scale with you.)

3. Did anyone tried to go there and find out? Any documented name? Anyone from "FES"?

4. So when sun orbits on the flat earth then when does he get time to orbit on other planets? or Each planet has his own sun?

Sorry but... How can you say no one has been there? We've got planes, we've been everywhere. Some people even travalled around the globe. They can't get much far away from civillization because they will eventually see the same islands, continents, etc.

The edge of the earth is often thought to be Antarctica. Circumnavigation of the earth is going in a big circle. North is in the center of the circle, south is the outer edge(Antarctica)
