Title: Why do you keep deleting my legitimate questions?
Post by: Inlandknights on February 02, 2012, 07:48:48 PM
Why is the night sky different depending on the geographical location(the sky in the North of England is different to the one in South Africa) The flat earth model should show the same sky from different angles.

If the sun is a glowing sphere that emits light, circling above a flat disc, then the entire surface of the disc should be lit. How is night accounted for under that model?

the 2nd question is easy to recreate, in your own living room.
take a lamp with a bare lightbulb and position it a few feet above a floor.
Turn off all the lights. see that the floor is illuminated in a circle of light (similar to our sphercial sun)
now imagine the whole living room is the giant disc. If possible walk in a circle around the room, see how this circle of light moves with you. This is what cause day, night,  time zones...ect.

Nobody deleted it, they moved it to Q&A (http://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forum/index.php?topic=52948.0).
