Title: Edge of earth, other side, sunlight

whats on the edge of the earth if its flat? Whats on the  other side of this "flat" earth?  Why is one side of the earth light, while one side is dark, if it is flat?

1: The ice wall.
2: No one knows.
3: The sun is only over one half at a time.
