Impossible to know for sure, but for all they know it could be four elephants and a turtle.

Given that the earth is pushed through space at 9.8m/s2 it is clear there is some force pushing it form below. The mighty morphin power rangers often combine to form a megazord, and most scientists recognise that this is the only possible explanation for what drives the earth through the universe.
