If you flew in a straight line, with the very literal definition of it, on earth (considering it a globe) you would also "fall off the edge" as in you would be going into space. but then when you talk of a straight line on the globe earth you are still meaning going round in a circle just as the FE'rs do....

if u went in a straight line u wouldnt fly off the earth unless u were in a jet or something.
if you went in a straight line around the glove youd make it around the world.
in order to go around in a circle like u where saying, its totally diffrent the if you went on a RE or FE.
on an fe your circle would be always turning
on an re your circle would be completely straight
in order to do the re circle on a flat earth, you would need to be sideways...
