Seriously, I thought that rocket looked a little small.

NASA also occasionally slips up like this. But the difference is that NASA's slip ups don't get publicized in the American media without the outlets receiving a knock on the door from federal agents two seconds later. There were a lot of NASA-fraud articles in the 60's and 70's, but these days the big media outlets won't even touch a NASA-fraud (or any government-fraud) story like that anymore since they know that the US government has raided media organizations in the past to confescate and purge computer system under the pretense of classified level information or "national security".
I wonder how long this article will stay up before being taken down by China's lawyers. Yahoo does a lot of business in China and has a number of offices there. I wouldn't be surprised if this article was taken down by tomorrow.

Here's a copy of the article:
China space mission article hits Web before launch
Thu Sep 25, 9:20 AM ET
BEIJING - A news story describing a successful launch of China's long-awaited space mission and including detailed dialogue between astronauts launched on the Internet Thursday, hours before the rocket had even left the ground.
The country's official news agency Xinhua posted the article on its Web site Thursday, and remained there for much of the day before it was taken down.
A staffer from the Xinhuanet.com Web site who answered the phone Thursday said the posting of the article was a "technical error" by a technician. The staffer refused to give his name as is common among Chinese officials.
The Shenzhou 7 mission, which will feature China's first-ever spacewalk, is set to launch Thursday from Jiuquan in northwestern China between 9:07 a.m. EDT and 10:27 p.m. EDT.
The arcticle, dated two days from now on Sept. 27, vividly described the rocket in flight, complete with a sharply detailed dialogue between the three astronauts.
Excerpts are below:
"After this order, signal lights all were switched on, various data show up on rows of screens, hundreds of technicians staring at the screens, without missing any slightest changes ...
'One minute to go!'
'Changjiang No.1 found the target!'...
"The firm voice of the controller broke the silence of the whole ship. Now, the target is captured 12 seconds ahead of the predicted time ...
'The air pressure in the cabin is normal!'
"Ten minutes later, the ship disappears below the horizon. Warm clapping and excited cheering breaks the night sky, echoing across the silent Pacific Ocean."

Isn't this a script which they decide on before they lunch?? so they can do subtitles for it for death people and so they can release information immediately?

Astronauts don't sit down rehearse what they're going to say on their way up for the benefit of the deaf audience. ::)
The TV Network is responsible for interpreting and adding that information into the broadcast as it's passed to the viewer.

its very suspicious I agree... and chinas rocket looks more like a childs toy or a strange building (tower) than a rocket

You do understand this is a communist country. I wouldn't put it past them to force the astronauts to say certain things.

So you're admitting that China's space agency is fraudulent and dishonest? Thanks, that's all I needed to know.
There's nothing like guaranteed success.

I wonder do they have any melanine on their rocket... ::)

Proof of International Conspiracy
International, no. Chinese, yes. Shame on them.

i lol at epic failure
im surprised the chinese government let them get away with this
dont they check over the newspaper before it goes out
-
It was an accidental release. They already had approved it for release, just not that early. It's hard to proof read a document that is written until late in the night and released early in the morning.

Yeah, but he is too new for some of the things he says. Then some of his statements just ring me as odd. When he first posted I was sure he was mids' alt, I even thought mids had changed his name until i saw the post count. Idk.

Remember when I said this?
The article was taken down and the link is dead.
Seems to happen whenever an anti-NASA article is posted as well.

Does the telegraph have any offices in China?
Yahoo has a history of doing China's sinister bidding.

...but the conspiracy kind of sucks at life if they can only shut down the article in a singular place...
This thread is more pointless than a noob coming in and asking about flying around the world.

...but the conspiracy kind of sucks at life if they can only shut down the article in a singular place...
Well a country ordering a take down of material only really works if the media outlet has offices there.
I doubt Yahoo would have given China that reporter's personal information to lock him away if Yahoo had no dealings or presence in China.

Or it could just be china controlling it's media like it does. You know google doesn't serve china anymore because they didn't want to censor the search results?

Not really. In this case China was controlling our media. The article wasn't posted on Yahoo China. It was posted on Yahoo US.
You know google doesn't serve china anymore because thy didn't want to censor the search results?
Incorrect. Google China still exists. And it's still being excessively censored.
Compare the google.cn image search for Tiananmen Square (http://images.google.cn/images?hl=zh-CN&um=1&ei=4e9hS5GDHITCMsnuiJYM&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=tiananmen+square&spell=1&start=0) to the google.com image search for Tiananmen Square (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&safe=off&q=Tiananmen%20Square&oq=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi).

My bad, they haven't stopped yet.

Censored to the point where not one result exists exposing the fake Chinese space walk that happened, or didn't happen depending on your point of view.

Now try the same phrase on google.com (http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=fake+chinese+space+walk&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=435311d5ec9ae78f). A lot of results on google.cn are being filtered. The epoch times link (http://www.theepochtimes.com/n2/china/shenzhou-vii-fake-spacewalk-5809.html) with a detailed analysis showing clear Chinese fakery is completely missing, for example.

Actually, they are claiming the will leave that market if certain conditions are not met. This was more a reaction to coordinated hacks of google email accounts that originated in china and targeted chinese political dissidents. China of course can attack a company by illegal means and the world doesn't even react.

It isn't much of a conspiracy if it only filters out some of the damaging information. Most of the top reults are the same on both. This seems to point to pure internet sensorship and much less to some sort of conspiracy to hide a fake space flight.
If you're shocked that a highly opressive nation would restrict some of its web content then I guess, good for you.
