Title: rent a boat and . . .
Post by: easytoprove on February 10, 2008, 06:38:48 PM
pretty simple to rent a boat and sail around Antartica.  If you travel in an inward circle - earth is flat. If you can travel in an outward circle - earth is round!

simple!

And you'd be able to tell over about 60,000 miles (That number seems important, either way it's a BIG distance) and you won't be going in a perfect circle, having to dodge ice floes, being battered by the famously violent antarctic oceans

Hrrmmm...interesting.

Eureka!

I propose we send Tom Bishop and Raa, two loyal Flat Earthers, to confirm this. For absolutely sureness, they should go in a rubber dingy that they themselves build, for a large boat could be manipulated by the conspiracy ;D

That's fine. You can play with the paddles  ;D

Oh, and the storms don't exist. They're just conspiracy lies to prevent people from going there. Don't worry, Tom has proved FE, so there's no way you guys can drown there!

So what's the difference between an inward circle and an outward circle?

well in an inwards circle you would travel through 360 degrees and navigate the full circumference, whereas an outwards circle...

Why should we bother doing any of that when we already know that the earth is flat?
