The same exact way it works in RE.

Ah.. fuck I had something to say but I can't remember it now.

Was it "in before the lock" by any chance?
-
No.. it was in before something squeee

I just cannot see how it is the same in FE and RE. Most all bird migrations take the shortest route more or less. Why would these birds fly all the way around? In RE the area where the flight path is, is an interior space and they are "boxed" in by land masses on all sides whereas in the FE model there is only land on one side. They also take the shortest path in RE while in FE they go the long way around.

I have posted the image from the article along with the flat earth rendering that everyone here seems to approve of and I can't see how this can work.

Perhaps they're attuned to the earth's magnetic field.
-
Do you have any proof that birds are attuned to the earths magnetic field or are you saying they can use a compass?
-
Homing pigeons. Now GTFO and excrete your "thoughts" in the right board.
-
That is all theory and has of yet never been proven by science.

It is all theory and suggests that only homing pigeons have this ability.

If the earths magnetic field is why these birds fly the path they do, then you would have to accept that there is a south pole.

If the earths magnetic field is why these birds fly the path they do, then what about the other ways that birds navigate around this great earth

This is really intersting for the whole RE FE debate. Here is one quote I find very interesting.
"Night-migrating birds are the only animals known to use the stars as a compass. Once learned, orientation is based on the fixed spatial relationships among stars and groups of stars: birds can orient even under the fixed sky of a planetarium. Young birds learn the relationships among star patterns by observing the rotation of the night sky that results from the earth's rotation on its axis. In this way they are able to localize the center of rotation (Polaris) and thus true north. The innate migratory direction is coded with respect to stellar rotation in young birds."

Try doing a search on here for magnetic field, it's been explained somewhere
-
But it has been proven that birds use more than the earths magnetic field for their flight paths.
-
well good for them

Maybe they have a high concentration of iron in their blood or something. Have you investigated this possibility?
-
I was not the one who brought up magnetism in birds. I was wanting you to show me how the migration I mentioned above can happen in flat earth and all I got in response was birds are magnetic. It is not up to me to prove magnetism in birds. You guys get side tracked to easy and then the gist of the original post means nothing. I was just showing that the migration of specific species doesn't seem to be plausible in FE.
If you read this article you will see that birds don't only use magnetic fields. But I guess since the magnetic field theory is the only one that fits in FE that is the one you will use.

I read the words magnetism in birds and realise all is well with the FES.

Yes it's funny, but it doesn't do much for your faith in the human race does it?

I guess you got me. I am so sorry I entered your realm. Since you are so much more wise and understanding than I am, I have no choice but believe in FE. No I just need to figure out how to tell my family. I actually came into this very open minded and ready for a valid explanation to my posts but all I have gotten is garbage back. Nothing proven, nothing even resembling anything scientific only belittling me when you can't make a valid argument to my postings.

You posted in the wrong forum ::) You should have posted in questions and clarification

In Dublin's fair city, where girls are so pretty, that's where I first met Sweet Molly Malone.

Brilliant song that, we sung it in primary school
