I'll be blunt about this. Originally, my intentions here were hostile, but I've had a change of heart. Why hate a group of people just because their beliefs heavily contradict yours? I personally believe the Flat Earth Theory is completely absurd, but I won't let that get in the way. I am a frim believer in a round earth, but I wish to learn about this society. I want to know what makes you defy all conventiontional thinking and accepted sciences to believe what you believe. I also see that you people are not very trusting about outsiders, so I leave it to you to decide whether you believe I am here peacefully or not.

I expected a response like that.

Certainty is absurd.

Welcome to FES, have fun.

Thank you.
You guys seem like a fun bunch, Flat Earth stuff aside.

I actually love a good spirited argument with a new troll, like I'm sure you've seen today. It keeps me entertained through the quiet hours of the day.

I also enjoy a frim believer now and then. With butter and rye toast. ;)
The problem with your assumptions are that many of the FE believers in here are actually very well versed in 'conventional science' and you will find that they have excellent debate skills. Although the majority here believe the Round Earth hypothesis, there is a reason we are here for the debate. It is interesting just how plausible some of the explanations are... and where the blatant disagreements do arise, the conspiracy theories / other theories are a blast to debate into the ground! ;D

Well, that's why I came here, so I can dispel some of my assumptions about this place and FE believers.
