Instead of living on another planet to escape the suns evolution. Why not move the Earth?
-
Because you are an idiot.
-
You must look past your own flaws and to the topic at hand.
-
Instead of worrying that your wife will know you're out with another woman, why not just don't go out with that woman?
-
Does a man know his duty to his mind?
-

Humanity will need to go to the stars for more resources and/or real estate unless humanity drastically changes itself

Bingo.
-
What evidence do we have that the sun is evolving?
-
Imagine the resources needed to move a huge chunk or rock, at which when moved away from the sun would probably freeze and end all life as we know it.
Then imagine the resources on building a fleet of ships in order to move more than like 10 billion people, maybe more by the time the sun has reached a dangerous part of it's growth.
We're screwed.
Well, humanity is, we're not, we'll be dead.

Yeah, but the sun has a few billion years left in it... hopefully we'll have a few colonies on other worlds by then, and although everyone here at home will be screwed, the race will live on.
-
Pfft, we'll all be dead by then. Remember: 2012 ;)

lol.. good point.

I think by the time we have to leave the Earth because of the sun, the Earth will be uninhabitable thanks to comet strikes and other such catastrophes, We better get our asses out in space soon.
The supervolcano under yellowstone is due to blow, wonder how that'll go.....
-
As Stephen Hawking explains, humanity must go into space if we were to save the whole race. A massive meteor could come from anywhere in the near future and hits the earth, destroying all life as we know it. Or, as expected, a World War 3 erupts and destroys civilization with flying nukes.
I always thought that humanity has the capability to live forever as long as there's knowledge and technology. For example, we have the power to stop global warming right now. Or, in our distant future (if humanity could live that long), we invent a time machine that allows us to go back in time before the universe collapses. We have the tools in our hands; we just have to make the right decision to find the right path.

DAMNIT, I WAS GONNA POST THAT!

I guess I'm just too quick with the draw ;D

thank god we live in a RE then, because if it was FE NASA would be spending all its money on image softwear and we would never leave.

Instead they just waste billions on space shuttles, only to have them break right before launch, every single time.

Who says we even need the ships? in Peter F Hamilton's Pandoras Star and Judas Unchained books, humanity has spread by opening permanent wormholes to distant worlds and threading an intersolar train network through them. Imagine:
"The 12.45 train to, Alpha Centauri is delayed by approximately 15 minutes. Galactic trains would like to apologise for this delay and any inconvenience caused to your journey"
"What's up this time?"
"Bloody Aliens on the line again."

every single time ? got any proof of this...

Got any proof that they don't?
Another win for FE!
-
they look well broken ::)
-
Any video that shows a space shuttle going into space is obviously faked, as it isn't actually possible. Try again. ;)
-
Yep, it's possible and does happen. Check out any number of my recent posts on radio. It's verifiable and quite undeniable. Doesn't matter if you want to use FE or RE model.. I don't really care, but as far as the Space Shuttle, or the ISS actually orbiting the Earth... yep, it happens.

Humanity defiantly needs to reach other planets to continue existing, however, in the near future we should concentrate on the population and climate change. Earth is the most hospitable planet known to man. If we can't survive here, we can't survive anywhere.

You can't move the flat earth, leaving the atmosphere would result either in the earth quickly leaving you behind, or you pancaking against the edge. Plus, if you pushed it, it would just tip over and everyone would be dissolved in the dark matter.

That's definitely worth for a signature.

Why not fly away using Douglas DC-8's like Xenu?
-
Why should we worry about things that are quite possibly millions and millions of years away?
Let our grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand............grand-grand children worry about it.

Replace all but last grand with great and you make sense.

Because it would be easier and break less stuff to move the people than the delicate planet. There. Bunch of troll-baiting asshats.

Why would he move it? He put it here.

Exactly. Chuck Norris is happy with his work.
