Title: Religion can twist people's views!
Post by: dox on July 16, 2007, 02:13:59 PM
I would like to draw your attention to this post:

I don't find it funny, it makes me cry how stupid they are. They are like lemmings following each other in to the sea of hell. Even Hell needs feul and that is exactly what they are, and that's why there are so many of them also, because hell is pretty big. As a matter of fact it is below us in this grand earth.
You know, we have to be able to pull out of the lemming society, separtate ourselves from them, have our own salvation. Look how round earthers are never sure of any thing except things which haven't been prooven. They think that they are ok because of the mathematical formula which goes like this; 2 negatives multiplied = a positive. ---the 1st negative is the unproven theory...the 2nd negative is the acceptance of an unproven theory --- the multipliction is the media or popularity of the fantasy and its' authors...and the positive is the flat earthers defence system against any authorized acceptance of negativity.
I'm pretty sure that you round earthers feel bad about this post, but if you don't get it right, you'll be feeling bad for a lot longer than a few minutes.

This was made in the FE Believers section of this forum and it, to be totally honest, pissed me right off.

Raa (the OP) says that if we don't start believing in this "theory" then we will "be feeling bad for a lot longer than a few minutes" which i take to mean we will go to hell as he appears to hang onto that religious punishment at the start of the thread. Now, if FE were true and we REers got it wrong, then so what?! Just because we made a mistake doesn't mean we will go to hell, in fact it is very far from it as i don't at all believe in hell! This is what pissed me off about that post, the OP thinks that just because they are religious (or sound to be religious, i apologise if i am wrong) everyone who believes in a RE will go to hell....

Also, even if you were religious, why does believing in the most common and widely accepted theory about the known world make you a 'sinner' and therefore liable to go to hell?!

Another lemming.   :D

Also, even if you were religious, why does believing in the most common and widely accepted theory about the known world make you a 'sinner' and therefore liable to go to hell?!

Because it contradicts the Bible.

I was never positive about Raa but I find it hard to take him seriously.

All round Earthers go to Hell, it is not a "mistake" to believe in the round Earth, It's a sin! The Bible clearly proves the Earth is flat yet you Satanists deny it. Even doing something as simple as looking out a window proves the Earth is flat. You could even use a level (a tool for all you round Earthers) and set it on the ground, what do you see? Probably that the bubble is right between the lines thus the ground is flat!

It's not your fault you are ignorant about the true shape of the Earth though, so just don't feel bad when God sends you to the pits of Hell to burn alive for all eternity because it is nothing personal.

Ah ok, didn't know it specifically said in the bible that the earth is flat (if it isnt explicit i won't believe that it contradicts it as words can be twisted...oh yeah, and the "bible" was written by some Roman Emperor to keep the jews and christians from ripping each other's throats out).

Also, why lemmings?! There is no call at all to compare people to simple minded rodents...also the belief that lemmings jump off cliffs (as they said "following each other in to the sea of hell") is total crap, yes they fall off cliffs, but are pushed or slip due to the mass migrations that occur.

You see again, to believe the total load of crap which just spewed out of your brain and, sadly, onto your keyboard and therefore onto these forums, you would need to be religious! I am not and so your woeful attempts at threats of 'hell' have no affect whatsoever on me!

Also, prove that the bible explicitly says the earth is flat, quote the exact passage or verse or whatever it is called.

So whoever said religious nuts are necessarily right about their religion?  ???

And actually, from the twisted point of view of Raa's post, lemmings are a perfectly accurate metaphor.  We're not intentionally jumping to our damnation, it's a result of us blindly following dogma (as lemmings who fall off cliffs blindly follow the pack in these mass migrations that you speak of).

You Satanists know God and the Bible are true! You just try to convert people to you religion by preaching "science" and witchcraft on us, even teaching it at public schools!

Also, prove that the bible explicitly says the earth is flat, quote the exact passage or verse or whatever it is called.

Daniel 4:11
Matthew 4:8
Revelation 1:7
Isaiah 11:12
Revelation 7:1
Job 38:13
Jeremiah 16:19

Take that Satan!

Bolded.

Yeah, apparently religion doesn't give you brains, notice the word "quote". As you have pointed out i am a Satanist (oooh, hard words, i think i just crapped myself....joker) and therefore am unlikely to have a bible and so what you said, for all i know, could be total rubbish!

90% of us are REers.  And the other 10% are most likely just pulling our legs.

DanielPZC, for example, is pure bullshit and doesn't believe a word of what he posts.

Actually science is what does not give you brains. Round Earthers and scientists have the logic and mental power of a three year old! Christians are the only people who can be taken seriously. You should consider going to see your local preacher to have him remove the demons from your black evil soul!

I made a spelling error, I am starting to look like a round Earther making errors like this!

Not like we can.  They don't think about the future.  Why would a dog bite a little kid when he know his owner is going to beat him?  Why if you cut a hole in a birds nest the bird will just keep laying eggs in it, even thought they fall out and break?

Seriously,
I'm christian, and I can prove EVERYTHING you have been saying is complete bullshit.
So just stop, grow up, and quit separating us,

And also,
Why haven't you provided any quotes to justify your bullshit theories?

Dogs bite kids because the kids are sinners. Birds don't count. Also thinking about the future is fortune telling! Witchcraft!

Exodus 22:18 Thou shall not suffer a witch to live

If I throw a ball at my window it will break.  OMGZOR I predicted the future.
I’m sure the dog bit the kid because the kid was a sinner and not because the kid stepped on the dogs tail.

i once saw a quote Daniel made from the bible that said the earth has 4 corners, but no one asked him if he believed in that too. all those quotes are obviously just trying to get a point across, not to be over analyzed.

Just for clairification,
Daniel 4:11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth: (back then did they know about the america's? Of course not.)
Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;(again, the known kingdoms at the time were in europe and the middle east)
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen (again, doesn't state a flat earth here either)
Isaiah 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.(again, the KNOWN earth)
Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (actually I've been to the four corners, NV,NM,UT and AZ)
Job 38:18 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? (again I do not see flat earth mentioned anywhere)
Jeremiah 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. (again, the known four corners. Have you EVER looked at an old map from even the middle ages, the maps are square and half of the earth is missing! It really is amazing how brainwashed some people can get. Especially when it comes to religion. Have with that bible thumpers!)

All those quotes from the Bible proves that the people did not understand what was happening around them. And if the Earth is flat, how can you go from Europe, over America, to Asia? And if the Earth really is flat, how does the sun rotate over the Earth?

And black people do have souls. They are clearly people, they think about the future and the CONSEQUENCES of they're actions. Ands so do YOU FE religious believers. If you didn't think about the future, how would you think about going to Heaven WHEN(future tense idiots) you die? So they're for, you are ALL witches and shall burn in your own self imagined hell.

Don't make fun of the newbie, all 3 of his posts (as of this post) have been very good.

Peg, the statements you made about FE are best answered in other threads, but the fact is that hell shouldn't exist by the very nature of the Christian God, and heaven defeats the very purpose of being human, which is to constantly adapt to hardships and thrive.
