Look so funny... I am not sure if it was just the technology or what but they sure do look much different and, dare I say it, fake! Some pictures will be on their way (if I can find some)

Cameras in the 1980's were just as good as cameras are today. Same resolution, same quality. There should be no difference.

This should lead to a NASA image gallery. Look at the [sarcasm]high quality[/sarcasm] of Pluto on the Hubble scope. The fancy one is labeled as an artist's rendering. If we can't get a good picture of Pluto(in our own solar system), it should be obvious that most of the fancy pictures on the discovery channel(in other solar systems) are computer generated. NASA has the technology to do that. How much harder would it be to generate a round earth photo?

The digital camera was not invented until the 90's. Obviously the camera on this alleged 80's satellite would have been using analog capture and broadcasting methods. By the 1980's analog capture and broadcasting technologies were very mature.
Image broadcasting technology has been around since the 1920's. Do you think it was impossible to broadcast a quality image in the 1980's or something? ::)

- That is not a picture from the 1980's It seems to be an image taken in the 1960's. Humans don't age that fast.
- NASA's Voyager project in the 70's could allegedly produce and broadcast excellent analog images to the earth from many millions of miles away. Was that technology lost sometime between the 70's and 80's? ::)

Are you kidding me? You are comparing the quality of cheap throwaway cameras with professional cameras! Professional cameras have been able to take stunningly sharp high resolution pictures since photography itself was invented.
Here are the Voyager images allegedly taken with 70's technology:

Clearly, the resolution and quality is superb. There is no reason why a billion dollar satellite built in the 1980's should have a cheap camera mounted onto it.

The only thing that has changed is the quality of disposable and consumer cameras. Professional photography equipment hasn't gotten any better.
Lenses were invented in the 1600's. The lens reached maturity long ago. Film reached maturity in the 1930's.

My five year old digital at second lowest quality setting can take better pictures than that. Also, who are you to judge what quality picture that one car was? Can you prove that it was a cheap throwaway? Before you post facts, look 'em up.
