This software has much more advanced moderating options, so hopefully it will help us control the spam.

I just found that out. PHPB only let Daniel change stuff like that, so I hadn't realized I could until just a minute ago.

I'm still trying to figure out how everything works, so if anyone finds out that their account has been deleted, or all their posts are missing or something, it's... uhhh... Erasmus' fault!

After that I think things should be readable on the forums, at least.

Also Penguin, if you can, either fix the member ranks or turn them off completely. Daniel has a backup of the forum in case you mess anything up.

Check out http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/ to see a big listing of custom themes available. I'm pretty sure you can download ones you like and upload them via the admin section. Also, just a minor nitpick, but I think the threads are too short. It used to be 20 posts per page. Now it's 15. What do you think?

I'm strongly against ranks of any kind that aren't custom to the user. Otherwise people just spam to get them.

Good idea, I didn't think to try to see if there were other skins available. I'm used to Babylon from another forum, so this is a little more familiar.

I've also installed English Steel, which a few people seem to like. I'm still quite fond of the current theme, so I'm going to leave that as the default. People are free to change their own theme to any of the available ones, though, by going into your profile and changing the "Look and Layout Preferences".
