Title: If the Earth is flat...
Post by: WarFreak131 on February 16, 2007, 06:55:09 PM
Whats on the edge? A fence, gigantic walls?  Wouldn't someone see it?  How can the horizon appear curved if the Earth is flat?  How can lunar eclipses show the curved shadow of the Earth on the moon?  How can you sail around the entire Earth and end up in the same place?  The reason, because it's round.  If the Earth were flat, sailors would flip 180 degrees around the edge.  And how could over billions and billions of years, the Earth becomes a flat disc?  There is a 99.99999999999% chance that it would end up as a sphere.  How many other planets are flat discs?  Ummm, 0, the last time I checked.  Why does every other planet naturally end up as spheres, except Earth is a disc?
