No I am genuinely interested on what you think makes someones life unfair.

What makes life unfair is the simple little fact that no one with the power to change your life actually gives a shit about you. That, and the fact that there are about a million more people who are in the very least as good as you are at everything, trying to take what you want before you can snatch it. I feel that almost all people in this world are born with very unfavourable odds against them. Most manage to make it, but not without compromising a whole lot.

Why do I need someone to give a shit about me in the first place?  Aren't we masters of our own destiny?  I think there are about 15 people as good or better at what I do than I am.  As for compromising, I'm not sure what I compromised to get here, but whatever it was, I obviously didn't need it.

Yeah, because you're so good at what you do that only 15 people can measure up to you in your immediate vicinity? Come on, do you live in the woods or something?

No, but there aren't many KC-130 Flight Engineers in the Marine Corps.

No, not in the marine corps, I'll give you that one. But more and more engineers are pumped out of universities every year. Just because you know only so and so many people with the same work criteria as you it doesn't mean there are actually only that many people there.

Ahh don't be confused.  Flight Engineers are totally different than your normal everyday Engineer that comes out of college or whatnot.  Flight Engineers where used from the 40's up to today on older airplanes that didn't have computers monitoring all the systems.  That what the Flight Engineers job was, and then to troubleshoot and fix a problem if it arises. 

Theses older airplanes are almost all gone.  There are only a few of us left. 

But I digress.  Why not work harder(study, learn more) and try and better yourself to make you part of the top 10% of your particular field?

That's what I'm doing, obviously, but I still feel that life is unfair to a large amount of people. To me, life has been swell, but I am living in a developed country, with a social security network, and a family watching out for me. Most are not so lucky.

Ok I will grant you the fact that you were "lucky" to be born in your country.  I think its the good ol' USA right?  We do have a better starting point than alot of other countries.  That may be a relativity question.  Does a man in the desert of Djibouti really know how bad he has it?  Maybe, maybe not.  But I still feel life is what you make of it.  If you are not happy, work harder to make yourself and your surroundings better.  People that are born here definitely don't have much to bitch about life being unfair to them.  I've been to Cambodia.  I've been to Indonesia.  I've been to Thailand.  Those people have a reason to bitch, if they even know what to bitch about.

I've never been to Sweeden.  I have been next door though in Oslo.  BEAUTIFUL country views up there.

I know. That's the only thing we get tourists for. And even then, we get few. Good riddance, if you ask me.

I have seen a few shows on the discovery channel regarding alternative dimensions and such. Very interesting to say the least. Whether you are religous or not, there are things out there that are greater than ourselves.

I have always been told that you usually won't see one if you are looking. This is why almost all encounters are chance.

I've had personal experience of some form of strange manifestation that defied explanation.  Nothing seen only heard; very loud noises in very close proximity (under my bed ), footsteps in the room.  Only happened when the lights were out, except when the manifestation was the actual switching on of the lights.

Scary stuff. I would have been freaking out. I bet most people would though.

I got out in 2004. A few had crashed by that time. The FET makes more sense than the v-22 theory.

What evidence do you have to support this claim?

Also important to note - for most ghost stories there is no evidence to suggest that the apparent supernatural experience is a ghost and not an alien.  Making the conclusion that an experience you can't explain is a ghost without evidence is irrational.  If you can't explain it, don't make up an explanation, just state that you can't explain it.
