Title: R.I.P. Antartica
Post by: katmarie on March 17, 2007, 08:17:30 AM
I've noticed that many peopl hear don't believe Antartica exists. That got me thinking what about penguins? They don't live at the north pole.

Antarctica as a continent, doesn't exist.  It is actually a ring around the FE.

If they had undeniable proof. Seriously, why arn't hundreds of researchers and researcher's pilots coming back with this proof? At 30,000 feet and clear skies, the pilots who get the researchers where they need to go can see hundreds of miles - wouldn't the Ice Wall end before then? If it was hundreds of miles thick, it would take in too much thermal energy from the rest of our earth.

Too much thermal energy?
Title: Re: R.I.P. Antartica
Post by: Skyburn on March 17, 2007, 08:54:12 AM
We'd all freeze. Either:
1) The Ice Wall would have, over time, taken in enough of the thermal energy to slowly cool the Earth. Is the sun(s) are as small and close as you all say, they can not, through light, provide enough energy to slow this process - either that, or this Ice Wall will constantly shrink and melt due to the addition of thermal energy.
2) The Ice Wall is small enough for it's end to be seen by pilots in the air.

No pilots have ever made any of these reports.
Enough of these pilots would be scientists themselves who would undoubtedly wish to share their findings.
The government cannot constantly silence these scientists with anything but death - the deaths so many scientists would cause a stir in the scientific community.

Smaller than human babies?  I have personally seen and Penguins held at the St. Louis Zoo. (no, you arn't supposed to touch... whoops! The security wasn't so good in the Penguin exhibit when they first started, and a lot of people got away with cuddling the Penguins. Some kid even stole one for a few hours! (or minutes, not sure)) Yeah, they are real. Very real. No waterproof technology can perform like that. (Kinda squishy too! (as much as any living thing is) They didn't like getting picked up much, though... :(  ))

No human baby that small can survive that long. Human midgets don't come out small.
Those penguins are real.

But you know what I love? No one has bothered to counter You can't guard the Ice Wall arguement! Meaning the government can't keep a conspiracy intact with all the researchers out there!

(They also live in South Africa and Argentina, and other locations in Antartica.)
I also find it interesting that Argentina actually includes a slice of Antartica as part of the province of Tierra Del Fuego. A part of a continent that "doesn't exist" and people live on it. Why would a government that would need to be part of a "conspiracy" let people live there?

Oh, I thought the ice wall was referred to as the ice wall, not Antartica... Anywho, no island "floats", Antartica does not float, the large ice sheets that cover it do, at least the ones that extend over the ocean.

No no, you see, that charming bit of documentary was filmed at the edge of the semi-continent-wall thingie called Antarctic. It was too far out for people filming it to actually SEE the wall. Ah yes, the "theory" remains intact.

Has this been going on since the dawn of time?

I find this very unlikely.

Then again, some FEers believe that the actual duration of our world history is not more than 500 years old, that Jesus was born 1680 AD and crucified in Troy before it was sacked, that the destruction of Pompeii by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius actually happened in the 18th century and that the Great Wall of China was built in the second half of the 20th century...  :o

Why?  If there no glory in reaching the end of the world and proving conventional science to be flawed?  Why does it make sense to base our belief structure on a 19th century crackpot with a bunch of debunk ideas, and then call all the scientists and explorers who agree that the south pole actually exists as we understand it liars?

If Antarctica is a continent, like is believed in RET, then the only way to travel around it in a clockwise fashion is to keep land on your right. If Antarctica is outermost part of a rim, like in FET, then the only way to travel around it in a clockwise fashion is to keep land on your left.

So how is it possible we are able to travel around the antarctic continent with the land kept to your right, when on a flat Earth, this would be impossible.

the answer is simple,
As MAster Willmore has thoerized, Antartica is a separate continent.

People live year round there, on the Antarctica pennisula, I think they would know of a giant ice wall.

Whats makes more sense is the barrier (really just a metaphor) is much farther beyond.
It is the point in which our spherical sun no longer shines. What lays beyond is unknown,
and it could be endless... Much exploration is to be had to confirm, but i know very soon it will.

Conclusive proof that it isn't? The burden of proof is on you, since academia has accepted RET and not FET. This is something that every conspiracy theory seems to have in common, the "prove me wrong" tactic.

you just acting dumb or what? did i say it isnt? what have i got to prove? im only agreeing with the statement that it must be a continent and not the ice wall if you can travel clockwise and keep land to your right.
im confused as to why your react to my statement like that

Wait what? You mean you were agreeing? Is that possible? Not even sure if the forum guidelines allow such a thing as agreeing.

the answer is simple,
As MAster Willmore has thoerized, Antartica is a separate continent.

The map that Master Lord Willmore espouses was proved false, IIRC. Also it's supported by Tom, which is always a death sentence for anything you want taken seriously.
