 Well, if there is a flat earth and another side and if the space rock that hit Earth 65m years ago only hit one side of the earth, then Jurassic park and dinosaurs, right?

Trillions of 'if's' and here we are.

Well, if the earth is flat, and if there is another side, and if the other side has the same amount of oxygen, then I don't think dinosaurs or Jurassic Park can exist because apparently, the more oxygen the smaller the bacteria. However though, if the earth is flat, and if there is another side, and if the aliens come from there, then the other side probably has a bright sun because aliens usually have big black eyes which means they are wearing black lenses which are similar to sun glasses.

What happens on the other side? Well, if there is a flat earth and another side and if the space rock that hit Earth 65m years ago only hit one side of the earth, then Jurassic park and dinosaurs, right? Well, not so fast, if the other side has the same amount of oxygen as we do, then the other side is just like ours but probably with more of gold and oil resources. Why do you think people build the Great China Wall? Why is North Korea and Iran are so secretive? Why do you think people are fighting in Middle East? Well, if the earth is flat, then I think there might be is a tunnel somewhere on this earth that leads to the other side.

Some people have good arguments though. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, of course. I'm not stupid LOL.

There are always two sides to every story. Just because they say the earth is flat, it does not mean they actually believe in it. Some people at the market for example, might say that the NIKE shoes they sell are real, but in reality they know they are selling a fake product. We win at the expense of others.

I just returned to this forum and found out Rabinoz passed away!
It's so sad news.

In such age he's energy was so huge. That's extremely admirable.
I can tell this forum lost some amount of energy due to his passing away.

May there will be another Rabinoz here.
And may Rabinoz be in peace in after life.

That's what I was thinking - this forum lost a huge source of energy.

It sad to see him go. To me he was a friend. Even though I never really chatted with him. He was one of the people who motivated me to stay on this forum. Now since he is gone, I don't know if there is any point of staying here. There will be no more wise vs rabinoz. The "WWE" show is over.  You never know what you have until you lose it, and that's how I feel about it. We will never read what rabinoz has to say. Thanks for everything rabinoz.

According to Eternal return theory, we will see each other again. Have a safe trip. I will see you again on August 29, 2016 - the date I registered on this forum.

Dear members of the FES

This is a very emotional moment for me.
I had a very long private discussion about the earth's shape with the space cow girl.
She told me to 'just look outside your window, and tell me if it looks flat or like a globe'.
I tried to resist, but then I succumbed to the urge. I looked outside. And guess what - it all looked flat. No curve visible!
After that I meditated for hours, ate an avocado and some lentils, went for a run and sorted my thoughts. I then came to the conclusion that the only explanation for the above is that the earth is, in fact, flat and not a globe!

I am now, officially, a flat earther!

If you pick up a rock, it is solid. It also has an 'underside'. The Earth is just a really huge rock.

I agree. But if you pick up a rock how do you distinguish between which is the overside and which is the underside? Relatively few rocks that I pick up are what you would describe as flat.  Most are just irregular in shape.

It's not like Earth is totally flat. It has mountains nearly 9km high and oceans 11km deep. It's quite rugged.

Given we are on this side of the Earth, the underside appearance is unknown.

if the earth is a disc then what is on the other side of the earth. is there a core to hold gravity? what happens if you fall off the edge and if there is no core and layers how do you explain volcanoes?

If the earth is flat and has another side, dinosaurs could be still alive on the other side because the meteorite that killed them only stroke one side of the earth.

As I understand it the problem is that attachments take up a lot of space.  We have been considering a 100% increase to the cost of memberships to cover it though.

I'm writing a research paper for school about conspiracy theories. I just started reading more about the flat earth society and I find it very interesting. I do have some questions. Why do you think the government is trying to hide this from us? And who is actually in control in the process of hiding such a large secret?

Please understand that I'm going into this completely open-minded and I don't mean to disrespect these believes in any way.

Who is in control? That is a good question. There are many theories as to who is in control. Some people say NASA, but I say that if the earth is flat, the organization that is behind this is hiding somewhere in Siberia, because it's very isolated place and for an average person it would be extremely hard to lurk around there. Another theory would say the organization's Headquarters is in North Korea because is tightly secured and Kim Jong-un is a CIA agent. There are hundreds of theories about this. I don't think you will find the answer to your question. Most of the flat earthers have a theory of their own. You might have to come up with something on your own.

Not really, no.  If anything it implies a circle which implies a globe.

Not really, no.  If anything it implies a circle which implies a globe.

Acorrding to most of the flat earthers, earth is a disk shaped - a circle.
