To all Australians and knowledgeable observers:

In your opinions, have you noticed any tendency in Australia to become more isolationist or non-interventionist than in the past?

The reason for this question is a Christian Orthodox prophecy from the early nineteenth century by the illiterate Serbian boy Mitar Tarabich (known to all Serbians as the Oracle of Kremna) which states the following near the end of the prophecy (this is not the entire prophecy but mostly those parts which are unfulfilled, and I have capitalised the section which appears relevant to Australia):

"The whole world will be plagued by a strange disease and nobody will be able to find a cure; everybody will say, 'I know, I know, because I am learned and smart', but nobody will know anything. People will think and think, but they will not be able to find the right cure, which will be with God's help, all around them and in themselves.
"Man will travel to other worlds to find lifeless deserts there, and still, God forgive him, he will think that he knows better than God himself. There, except for the eternal peace of God, he will see nothing, but he will sense with his heart and soul all of God's beauty and power. People will drive in rigs upon the Moon and stars. They will look for life, but life similar to ours they will not find. It will be there, but they will not be able to understand it and see that it is life. One who goes there, God forgive him, not believing in God as it is proper for an honourable and decent person, when he comes back he will say, 'Oh, you people who mention God's name with doubt, go there where I was; then you will see what is God's mind and power'.
"The more people will know, the less they will love and care for each other. Hatred will be so great between them that they will care more for their different gadgets than for their relatives. Man will trust his gadget more than his first neighbour...
"Among people of a nation far in the north, a little man will appear who will teach men about love and compassion, but there will be many hypocrites around him so that he will have many ups and downs. Not one of these hypocrites will want to know what is real human grace, but his wise books will remain and all the words he will say, and then people will see how self-deceived they were.
"Those who will read and write different books with numbers will think that they know the most. These learned men will let their lives be led by their calculations, and they will do and live exactly how these numbers tell them. Among these learned men there will be good and evil men. The evil ones will do evil deeds. They will poison air and water and spread pestilence over the seas, rivers and earth, and people will start to die suddenly of various ailments. Those good and wise will see that all this effort and hard work is not worth a penny and that it leads to the destruction of the world, and instead of looking for wisdom in numbers they will start to seek it in meditation."
"When they start to meditate more, they will be closer to God's wisdom, but it will be too late because the evil ones will already ravage the whole Earth and men will start to die in great numbers. Then people will run away from cities to the country and look for the mountains with three crosses, and there, inside, they will be able to breathe and drink water. Those who will escape will save themselves and their families, but not for long, because a great famine will appear. There will be plenty of food in towns and villages, but it will be poisoned. Many will eat because of hunger and die immediately. Those who will fast to the end will survive, because the Holy Ghost will save them and they will be close to God.
"The greatest and the angriest will strike against the mightiest and the most furious! When this horrible war starts, woe to those armies that fly over skies; better off will be those who fight on ground and water.
"People waging this war will have their scientists who will invent different and strange cannonballs. When they explode, these cannonballs instead of killing will cast a spell over all that lives—people, armies and livestock. This spell will make them sleep, and sleep they will instead of fighting, and after this they will come back to their senses.
"We will not fight in this war, but others will do battle over our heads. Burning people will fall from the sky over Pozega [a town in Serbia]. ONLY ONE COUNTRY AT THE END OF THE WORLD, SURROUNDED BY GREAT SEAS, AS BIG AS OUR EUROPE, WILL LIVE IN PEACE, WITHOUT ANY TROUBLES... UPON IT OR OVER IT, NOT A SINGLE CANNONBALL WILL EXPLODE.  Those who will run and hide in the mountains with three crosses will find shelter and will be saved to live after in abundance, happiness and love, because there will be no more wars..."

It seems that the term fascist is finally losing some of its sting when applied to a certain group of people, and I am thinking of the Bush administration and other pro-israeli war hawks in positions of power.  This is due in no small part to the controlled media.  They thrive on a major portion of the population being ignorant of the depth of their wickedness and therefore having no qualms with supporting them.  The media assists them by tarnishing their worst enemies.  When the media exposes their corruption, they criticize it at best.  

  Earlier this year in Kenya, the government raided the offices of the very informative 'Standard' newspaper and stole 40 computers and burnt an entire day's output.  The american government is large and powerful enough it can act in other ways or to an extent cover up when it does something like this, but the situation is tending worse.  Much of the government and corporations which control it are very much tools of a wealthy and corrupt oligarchy which is masked as a democracy, andmuch of this is included in the jewish lobby which the media seldom enough discusses.  Why is it sancrosanct or some called a hatemonger to bring attention to a group which has a huge malignant influence on society?  It can certainly not be called democratic or representative of the majority.

  I also want to point out an important difference (or at least it has been so up until now) between what I may call a conservative patriot and a revolutionary patriot.  A conservative patriot loves america and fears if trends continue in the same direction, then america may become a police state or dictatorship.  To this group belong most (but not quite all) politically conservative americans.  A revolutionary patriot says america is already a police state and reckons when it became one in the past.  To this latter group belong proportionately many Native First Nations, Africans, Hispanic peoples, Arabs, other Third World Nationalities, and persons of European descent as well.

  Compared with its relative low in the 1970's, genuine fascism unfortunately seems very much on the rise.

My general view of the cause of seasons is due largely to the sun.  This is explained rather adequately by Samuel Rowbotham as demonstrated in the following links which are chapters from his book 'Earth Not a Globe':

  I also want to add that if the sun were actually 93,000,000 miles from a theoretically global earth as in the modern heliocentric model, then any significant deviation in distance between the two (due to a heliocentric earth being at the close or far points of an elliptical orbit) would cause a change of seasons for that entire globe, not only half of it.  The daily rotations would expose all the globe to the sun.  There would be no difference in seasons if the modern heliocentric model were true.

  Rowbotham's (and other) flat earth models demonstrate very reasonably the cause of a difference in seasons.  The bible and science concur with each other in this.  This also exposes the tenuous reasoning and falsity of heliocentric theory.  (Geocentrists would have less of a problem with this as would others who do not believe the sun is so far away.)

  I also want to add from personal experience that high altitudes in mountains tend to be cold, yet one is more apt to become seriously sunburned at such altitudes than otherwise.  Why?  Because one becomes quite simply closer to the sun when it passes overhead at such altitudes.  I was hiking this past May in the Himalayas of northern India to the source of the Ganges when my nose and upper back were sunburnt worse than all the times I have been in Egypt, Panama, or Hawaii.   I was closer to the sun at that high altitude.  I have also read in Lonely Planet guidebooks that high altitudes expose one to unusually bad sunburns so it is not an isolated case.  If the sun were 93,000,000 miles away, then a few thousand metres difference would not matter.  It did matter because the sun is both much smaller and much closer than heliocentric astronomy claims.

A couple of weeks ago, I visited the Ethiopian National Museum in Addis Ababa where the evolutionists' prize find 'Lucy' is located on the ground floor.

  What a crock.

  The bones of a small girl.  Actually only part of the bones, but even their reconstruction in the adjacent case is plainly human.  So what else is new? The bones of that human child is the evolutionist ace card?  I was expecting something more from all the hoopla she receives.  She is definitely human.  The thought never would have entered my mind that she was anything otherwise unless I was deliberately looking for some kind of way to denounce the Bible.

  Even so, I could have done better than that.  Come on.

  The bones they have are much less than half the skeleton, and they claim that it is the most extensive find of such allegedly ancient men.  No wonder Seraphim Rose wrote decades ago that all the bones of allegedly early man worldwide supporting the evoltionist could easily fit into a single coffin if they were brought together.

As recounted in 'The Scramble For Africa' by Thomas Packenham, during the nineteenth century the entire continent of Africa was colonized by europeans - with the exception of Ethiopia.  

  This is due to one reason alone - Ethiopia posesses the Ark of the Old Covenant, and the nation which carries the Ark in battle cannot lose.  King Menelik II's right arm was his general Ras Allula, the commander in the Battle of Adowa.  He had also been the right arm of Emperor Yohannes before him.  Ras Allula was loyal to the hilt and ever victorious.  The British tried unsuccessfully at first to conquer the Sudan where their greatest war hero of that century - Charles Gordon - was slain in Khartoum by the army of the Mahdi.  As long as the Mahdi lived, they beat the British every time.  The Mahdists lost, however, when they fought with Ethiopian armies led by Ras Allula.

  In 1896, the Italians marched deep into Ethiopia.  They were met by the forces of Ras Allula at Adowa twenty miles west from Aksom, the ancinet capitol where the Ark of the Old Covenant is kept.  On the day of the battle, Ras Allula's army carried the Ikon of Saint George the Dragonslayer into the battle along with the Ark of the Covenant.  Saint George is the patron saint of Ethiopia.  The Italians were slaughtered.  They were all running for their lives by nine o'clock in the morning.  Their commanding general was killed in battle.  The African servants who had been fighting with the Italians then revolted and slaughtered their former masters.  It was a great day for all Africa.  Ras Allula captured three thousand italian soldiers.  These were all that remained as the rest of the italian force had died in battle.  These three thousand italians were permitted to return to Italy, but they were first castrated so they would never have any children.  For years after this italian sailors feared so much of going to Africa, they would often mutiny rather than go there.

  That occurred in 1896.

  The most prominent group of persons involved in colonialism were wealthy jews, and at the time of the Battle of Adowa the Rochschild family controlled european politics.  Of crucial imporatnce to the future of Ethiopian politics, the zionist movement was "officially" begun at that time.  I am certain there are other reasons as well for the timing of the conference, but in reference to the Battle of Adowa in 1896, the jewish powers behind colonialism decided to make a damage assessment in the form of the World Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland the following year - 1897.  This conference was in part a reaction to the Ethiopian victory at Adowa because the european powers who did the bidding of the Rothschilds had failed to completely subjugate Africa, which had been the colonists' aim.  

  According to 'Waters Flowing Eastward' by the Russian writer Paquita de Shismareff, a young Russian policeman was among a force of police dispatched to break up the conspiratorial meeting.  As this Russian guard later recounted in older age in 1938, the complete text of the 'Protocols of Zion' were found on the speaker's desk at that meeting.  

  King Menelik of Ethiopia had earned the wrath of the colonialists for his victory.  They correctly reasoned from this battle that it was not possible for them to defeat Ethiopia militarily.  Therefore, they sought out a traitor from among the Ethiopian people thenselves who would sell out his people by doing their bidding.  They found such a person in a member of Menelik's court - Ras Makonnen.  

  Ras Makonnen became a friend and associate of Jews and europeans much more than King Menelik, whom he plotted against.  He met with jewish reprensentatives of the German government in 1905.  He was promised that his son Ras Tafari would be emperor instead of Menelik's son.  Indeed, Ras Tafari received supprt from the jewish dominated British and in turn american governments through most of his long career.  He put Menelik's son in prison and had him murdered.  This fact is documented in 'We the Black Jews' by Joseph ben Jochanan, a learned history of the falasha jews of Ethiopia:

  There was much resistance to Ras Tafari during the period from 1916 to 1930.  He used brutal tactics to become emperor as documented in 'Haile Selassie:  The Early Years - 1892 to 1936' published by Red Sea Press.  Th e revolts are also documented very well with pertinent illustrations in 'A History of Modern Ethiopia:  1855 -1991' by Bahru Zewde which is published by East African Educational Publishers with offices in most or all East African countries as well as the University of Ohio Press.  This informative book is widely available in Addis Ababa, and i purchased a copy at the House of Khemet in Wahington, DC indicating it is commonly available from Africa-American bookstores.  'The Emperor' by Ryszard Kapuscinski recounts the good, bad, and ugly of Ras Tafari's life by interviews with many servants who knew and interacted with him first hand.

  Ras Tafari's mother was an Oromo muslim making him ineligible to become King of Ethiopia according to the traditional strict requirements for the Solomonic kingship.  He brutally put down a loyalist (loyal to the true leaders) resistance in 1928 by executing its leaders.  His cousin Empress Zewditu was the Queen of Ethiopia until her husband was slaughtered in an imporsant civil war battle in 1930 by Tafari's henchmen.  After this battle, he coldly assasinated Empress Zemditu and his British sponsors televised his coronation worldwide.  At that time he blasphemously took on the name Haile Selassie (Almighty Trinity) to himself.  He also depended on the League of Nations rather than God to defend him against the Italian invasion in 1935.  Obviously, the Italian invasion was a judgment from God both for the King's sins as well as for Ethiopian peoples' turning from the fervency of religion that their parents and ancestors had which had been occuring in Ethiopia especially since the modernizing Emperor Tewodros in the mid-nineteenth century.  One indication that Tafari was a brutal dictator was that his people continually revolted against him.  (Discounting the lesser rebellions, there were major revolts against Tafari in 1946, 1960, and 1974 - the last one being successful.  For myself, the crowning signal of what sort of man was Ras Tafari was his close and lifelong friendship with the zionist movement and modern israel.

  An excellent book stating the traditional Ethiopian view of Ras Tafari is 'The Classic Case of Ethiopia' by Ermias Kebede Wokle-Yesus, Nibure-Id to which I would refer anyone (rastafarians in particular) finding disagreement with what I have written above.  The book is available from:

This post is a response to a challenge from Cinlef in a post initiated by the Grim Squeaker.  Having been accused of making long posts in the past, we will not begin this post with such a blitzkrieg of information.

  Therefore, I will commence with the following opening statement:

   Dragons (also known as dinosaurs, but I use the older name) are a fact of the modern world.  Flying dragons (huge pterodactyls which are alive and well) exist today as they have always existed since the creation of the world.  This also holds true for sea monsters many of which are sea serpents (dragons) with an ability to fly and rove the lands and deserts of this world.  And if you don't believe it, then you're a dummy.

Capitalism versus socialism - to complement the meieval versus moderrn post.  The idea is that this post covers the period AD 1500 to the present.  The debate is certainly not limited to that time frame, especially with rehuard to ideas and institutions which spill over from one to the next - but only as a general divide as to what could become a large and unwieldy subject.

  (The statement by troubador below stating he had never heard of it is a reference to my comment in an earlier post that I thought his ideas made him a candidate for the John Birch Society, about which time the topic of conversation was turning into a debate between socialism versus capitalism.)

Medieval europe is more similar to the three major eastern civilizations than it is to the modern west.  

  (The three eastern civilizations are the islamic, hindu, and chinese:  near eastern, middle eastern, and far eastern - strictly speaking)

  That is how Sheik Abd 'Al Wahid described the abyss that separates medeival europe from modern civilization, and the world has not produced a more profound historian in at least the past two hundred years.

Widespread literacy is a detriment to civilization.  This is not to advocate total illiteracy.  Reading should not be prohibited to those who are interested.  And an elite should have knowledge which does not necessarily imply literacy.

  Widespread illiteracy was a major component of all traditional civilzations including the early Christian, and this element was a major reason for their stability.  Correspondingly, widespread literacy is a contributor to the instability and decadence of modern civilization.

  The fact should also be borne in mind that oral tradition preceeded literate tradition in all societies, and the former is more sacred and superior to the latter.

  Modern industrial civilization is dependent upon widespread literacy.  The principle reason why widespread literacy has been enforced in modern times by means of an artificial and modern (and degenerate) education system is that industry requires a pool of semi-literate proletariats to supply labor in order to function.

  This is the reason corporations are willing to replace public schools, but also why education is so poor and mass education by private corporations will ultimately produce even lower quality education than that of public schools.

  The best and the cheapest (for the taxpayers that is as opposed to the wealthy few) solution to schooling is to abolish most schools and replace them with absolutely nothing.  This will allow illiteracy to flourish.

  If widespread illiteracy were accomplished on a world wide scale, then industrial civilization would die due to lack of labor.  The concept is equivalent to a fire triangle.  If oxygen is removed, then a fire will die.  If labor is removed, then capitalism will perish.  The vacuum would allow tradition or villagism to rise as people returned to the basics.  Life would be more natural and less robotic and secular.  Significantly, society would be less controlled.
 
  Literacy is a major factor in distinguishing traditional civilization from the modern and why the former is superior to the latter.

This forum is not a flat earth society.
  To my knowledge not one of the moderators including the new ones believe in a flat earth.  And as a matter of fact, most of them argue vehemently and/or consistently against it.  I have been a member of this forum since last October which is longer than any of the moderators (with the exception of Enraged Penguin - he's got me by a week) were ever members, and I have never seen any evidence that the founder Daniel has stated he believes that the earth is flat.  I am not convinced at all that Daniel believes the earth is flat or that anyone on this forum does other than perhaps a couple or so insignificant people who are not moderators.
   Very often many persons have expressed disgust with the fact that there is so much idle talk on this forum, and that it is pointless.  I fully agree with this view, that the forum is totally useless for discussing the subject for which the society bears its name.  

  First of all, the kind of world postulated, is a man-made model concocted in the nineteenth century to conform with modern science - in my opinion largely a bunch of rubbish (a modern flat earth earthism which satisfies the minds of those  enslaved to modern ideas.)  A traditional cosmology of the Church Fathers and ancients is the old way, the ancient truth, not eccentric british ideas from 125 years ago which are a pathetic half-hearted apologetic modern flat earthism.  

  A legitimate flat earth society (unlike this one) would have a very restricted and limited membership and not include persons who ridiculed the idea which this forum actually elevates to moderators.

  To reflect the true nature of this forum, I recommend this forum change its name to the Anti-Flat Earth Society.
