Giant Killer Mushroom Dream
« on: November 04, 2024, 12:16:18 AM »
So this was kinda a dream totally lacking in terror elements for most of the thing. We passed this tree with purple powdery residue for like four weeks in dream time before anything happened. It took about that time for biologists to show up and study how it was gradually developing into mushrooms, gradually moving towards other mushrooms or powder on people's hands, until finally it chased at a run.

But what was interesting is how even people I knew couldn't be bothered to look up an notice "Hey! Now this guy is getting chased!" They were all glued to their meetings and video conferences and their cellphones.

I know we debate alot, but you guys would toss some anti-fungal at me if a giant walking mushroom was trying to fuse itself to me, right? Right?!?

I'd smoke it.

Yep, I'd pass you an anti-fungal if I could. I have had a bushfire escape dream (ducked as burning log fell, ran to store, then ran to creek once fire spread) despite not being in a bushfire prone area

I bear you no ill will, but honestly, I'd be running away as fast as I could.

Is it okay to say "crap" here? I had a dream a week or so ago where I was waiting in line for a bus, and then someone came and said that the bus was delayed and wouldn't be here until next Tuesday. This was a Tuesday, so it was going to be 7 days before the bus came. As soon as that announcement was made, everybody in the line (except me) dropped their pants and took a crap on the sidewalk right next to where we were standing in line.

I woke up shortly after that, laughing hysterically. At that moment I was certain that this was the funniest dream I'd ever had. For the next few days I could not relate that dream without laughing.

I have a genuinely funny dream once or twice a year. Mostly my dreams are the sort that make me say, "Wow! I'm sure glad that was a dream!!!"
