Which headphones do you use? I've had a pair of Sennheiser HD 485s for 6 years and they still work as well as they did when I got them. I usually use a pair of cheap ear buds when I'm bench pressing body builders in the gym. However I'm planning on getting the PX-100 IIs soon for mobile use.

Bose AE2 and IE2. I used to buy cheap $50 headphones but they would constantly break (in 3-4 months the sound would either fade or the magnets would die/come loose) For ~$50 more I bought these Bose ones and they haven't broken in years.

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 800s for use at home, and a cheaper set of Westone UM3X RCs for when on the bus.

The Senns are fantastic and have a very neutral sound signature, but they're bulky and have a high impedance, so they're not very portable. My Westones are in-ear with great isolation, have a fairly middle-of-the-road impedance but are also very sensitive, and they have mildly accentuated bass and treble which makes them well-suited for use in a non-ideal listening environment.

I have a pair of Logitech H530 usb headphones for use at home.  The black (smooth) material on the foam ear pieces is starting to flake but I've had them for at least 5 years.

On the go, I've got a simple pair of earbuds that I got at a cell phone store for $20.  Nothing fancy really.

Apple earbuds. :[

I've had various <$50 earbuds over the years, as I am poor and have no money. I'd like to get some new ones soon because Apple's are not very good, but I never really even know where to start looking.

I, like Parsifal, have the HD800s.  However my audio source and amplification equipment are shit, I will get around to upgrading it, spent too much on the headphones.  I use my Audio-Technica ATH-M50s studio monitors pretty regularly.  When going for walks, I use my Apple earbuds so I can hear the traffic.  On planes and other loud places I have Shure SE215-CLs.

I don't own any headphones. I don't have tinnitus, headaches and can hear like a bat.

Using headphones doesn't require the volume to be insanely high.

I've never met anyone who uses headphones regularly, that can hear properly.

Most people who only know very few people have trouble admitting it. Good job, buddy.
