Flat Earth Debate / Re: What about ships on the ocean?

There’s more than that viewpoint of a ship, that your side always ignores for some odd reason.

The constant crap about this same one viewpoint you use to avoid that there are other viewpoints of them, is not going to work for your argument.

Your side seems to believe there’s only one viewpoint of the surface, which isn’t really rising upward at all but looks like it is, and you bs about it all, ignoring the truth as always.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: They've lied to the world about the stars

The evidence shows they lied, we have clearly seen what Saturn looks like, moves constantly and rapidly in rotation, and nothing close to what they claimed to see.

In future, it will be clearer and sharper to see, and leave no doubts they lied to the world about Saturn.

It's in actual fact  the exact opposite to what you're saying, Turbonium. The clearer and sharper photos of Saturn are already here, which show all those astronomers were pretty good artists.

Saturn does not move rapidly around as you suggest. It moves for sure, but slowly to us here on Earth.

They had no reason to lie. Can you suggest a reason why they might lie about seeing something which they know all other astronomers will look for and verify or refute?

I'll post up some more comparison photos for your viewing pleasure, Turbonium.

Level is a path or span of a distance measured between two separate points, over that span of distance.

There is no way to measure for one point, that’s a joke!

Flat Earth Debate / Re: What would a flat earth engineering school look like?

Surveyors know Earths surface is flat, know there’s no curvature on Earths surface.
Then why is there such a thing as geodetic surveying?
https://wecivilengineers.wordpress.com/2018/09/17/difference-between-plane-surveying-and-geodetic-surveying/

A surveying from made up ‘space’ for a made up Earth ball, trying to excuse the real surveying on Earth, which we use for real projects on Earth.

What would they have built for these ‘geodetic’ surveys?

It sounds good to say geodetic surveying, made up bs they eat up as real ball Earth ‘proof’!

What do you think our instruments are for?

Why is the Earths surface so important to know as flat, has been known as flat for thousands of years, is the very reason our instruments are designed to measure for a flat surface and horizontal lines.

Look at how the compass is designed and used on a flat Earth. It’s not designed to guide us around a ball Earth or curved surface of a ball Earth.

It points to the center of flat Earth, and out from the center in an expanding circle.

Our instruments measure for a flat and horizontal path or line, and cannot measure for anything else but for a flat and horizontal line or path or surface.

That’s why we made them for that purpose. No other purpose but that.

Saying we cannot measure for a curve is because we have no curve to be measured for, why would we have to use such instruments to measure for a curve when no curve exists?

There’s no reason or logic to have instruments that measure for any curved lines or surfaces with levels that cannot measure for a curve, it’s not because it’s too small a curve to be measured for, it’s because levels aren’t meant to measure for ANY curves of ANY size at all. How could they measure for something they aren’t designed to measure for?

Because you want an excuse for a non existent curve to be so small and not measurable because it’s too small!!

Except it’s big enough a curve to make ships disappear from sight when only three miles away, but too small to measure for it!!

I question everything including Eric Dubay.

I categorically deny these things:

The problem is, I can step back and say "veganism is total crap." And I can explain that when a population goes vegan, this idea that animals will be treated better actually in practice results in animals being put to sleep. Human beings take care of animals that they farm/hunt/fish. We truly are an out of sight out of mind species.
But you guys? So today I watched a film called My Future You, a Filipino film. But I couldn't get past the first fifteen minutes. Why not? Well, at the 1:30 minute mark, I get this exchange:
Quote
Mom: Hey what's that? (Kid is on phone at dinner table) Stop using your cellphone. You don't even know what's real on social media.
Girl: I told you so.
Kid:  Huh? They're saying the Earth is flat.
There is no off-switch. You are perpetually trying to dissuade flat Earthers. It's in the books, movies, and so on. In the mean time, actually check what hours that I am an am not on here. Usually early morning, and in the evening. It's because in the time I'm not here, I'm doing other stuff. It visibly irks you that people don't believe as you do. Like, if you could go all jihad about it in polite society, you would. Instead, I even go to watch a pinoy romantic comedy and can't enjoy it.

All objects of different masses, and density, which react in different ways or don’t react at all to any actual forces, except the made up force they named ‘gravity’, because it had to explain why all things of different masses and densities fell from air at the same speed of fall, which proved they fell from air by their greater mass and density than air, all having more mass/density than air to then fall through it at that same rate. More mass and density is not a factor because all things have more mass and density than air.

As opposed to us floating around in ‘space’?

You mean that everything on Earth was first created to float around in ‘space’ without a great force within a ball Earth that pulled everything from space that was floating around in it, until close enough to the ball Earth, and a force pulled them all down to Earths surface?

That’s what you assume existed first? As opposed to all the evidence that shows it’s not true?

No, what I’m saying is that whatever exists of the surface is relevant, and if it’s not accounted for, not measured for, we’d be in big trouble for sure.

You’ve believed there is such a small curve over the Earths surface, making it not possible to measure for, with any of our instruments, which weren’t built for measuring a curve to start with, they were built to measure a flat line or surface, which they all do.

Laser levels have a perfectly straight beam of light, so what do you think they are measuring for as level?

They don’t measure for a curve, no curve exists at all, so we don’t need to!
