‘What mechanism would we use to keep the apparent motion of a star in the centre of a fixed focal length telescope's field of view?’

I found this question online and as I have no idea what he’s going on about, I wondered whether someone here could either answer the question or perhaps just explain to me what he means.

As we know, earth is orbiting in a set path, probably the work of a wave in the space time continuem, which gives us the illusion of gravity. The other planets also have these same paths too. It is safe to conclude that stars and other objects outside of this solar system also move on a path that makes it seem to us like we are spinning but in fact, they are spinning.
