I like what Roundythetruthiestness was saying in another thread about coming to this site and learning something.
Sometimes round earthers get flack for being sheeple. But another way to look at it is, we've seen evidence that's been put forth (homemade videos of objects in space, maps consistent with flight-times, GPS, etc.) and now we recognize how much NASA has to endure.
NASA does not get the attention it deserves. Here it gets sooo much attention. Even though it's mostly negative, I wish more people focused on NASA as much as the people at this site. Newscasts always cover sports and celebrities, but how many people could tell you the name of the current commander of the space station, or what expedition number they're currently on.
It's really funny that here, they are recognized as the government's big secret. But they hardly get any attention by the public. The amount of videos, pictures, and stories they make up, only to be mostly ignored by the public is reason enough for the government to just move on to a cover-up that they can keep behind closed doors. Like Monsanto.
And their budget is a drop in the hat! As I mentioned in another thread, the military spends more on air conditioning than the money NASA gets.
NASA is soooo public about all its endeavors but the majority of the population doesn't care. It just is really unbalanced.
Anyway, the point of this thread (which I deviated from) is that here on this site are round-earthers, and we feel we represent mankind's achievements. So of course we're going to defend NASA in every way we can. It's not because we're sheeple, it's because it's our species that is up there flying around and sending us photos.
Oh, deviated again. And this site has made me appreciate space so much more. Because most people take it for granted. Most people know about sports happenings rather than space happenings. And if there weren't people who think it's a big coverup I probably wouldn't be as grateful for space happenings as I am now.
*tear*
Sorry for the ramble.
