His belligerent refusal to nurture a sense of humour and tedious low content "give me evidence" "you are wrong" type posts make for less than entertaining confab should you be the unfortunate wretch stuck in a thread with him. Of course one would just avoid him like one avoids a bore at a party, but at a party the boring person can't be in every room at once and at every party in town every single day.
What is worse is that other posters then come to the site and think that it is the way RErs should behave! People like Trig and The Knowledge then rush around screaming "that is an appeal to authority" and "Typical FEr!" as though the person debating with them would enjoy seeing that again for the 1000th time.
And lastly it is that he won't pop on his slippers for idle chit chat in the lower boards and shakes like a shitting dog at the thought of meeting one of the FErs in a fair fight debating philosophy or religion or race or politics. This I find the most shabby. Boasting about how stupid FErs are compared to him, but not daring to take them on when he doesn't have the weight of the world's scientific community behind him.
In short, he's a soulless prick with no redeeming features. I hope that clears it up for the OP.
