One would think they have to if they want to compete.  Although I am sure there are a good amount of Xbox homers out there who would eat it up at any price.

This is the exact same bullshit they gave people about the DRM. "We can't just flip a switch and turn it off!"


I don't even care though, I am never getting an Xbox regardless of how good/bad it is. It is just a poor outlook on how many corporations want to direct gaming.
