Land masses - isn't Australia a wee bit small?

Judging by flat earth maps .. Australia would have to be

* a bit smaller than Canada, area-wise
* bigger than the United States

Canada: 9,984,670 kmē
Austalia: 7,741,220 kmē
United States: 9,631,420 kmē

Are all the Australian maps that show Australia with its round earth shape, as opposed to the streched-out shape it would have to have on a flat earth, part of the conspiracy?
