Flat disk

>>>A matter of physics. In the Earth's early life it went through extreme rotational force and sheering. This gave the Earth its flat disk shape.<<<

I'm quoting Tom from another thread here,
My question:
What direct evidence do you have of this "extreme rotational force and sheering."?
Has it stopped?
What stopped it?
What started it?
Remember angular momentum must be conserved in some way.

Anecdotal evidence not withstanding.

You will be asked to prove the creation of a round earth.  So don't expect an answer, it would be very hard (or at least I think it would) to find personal evidence of how the earth was created either way.

Also, if extreme spinning (paraphrasing) created the earth, wouldn't the earth be slightly thicker at the edges? Just throwing that out there. I am prepared to be called noob.
I'm so tempted to put a scratch and sniff at the bottom of a pool and see what you do...

Avert your eyes, this is too awesome for them...

There is no barrier so I don't think it would be thicker, but thinner.  But it would still have to be very thick at the edges either way.

No one is sure what, why or how?
