Flat Earth Debate / Re: The moon
« on: May 12, 2008, 02:24:38 PM »
Geez, are people here unable to answer questions? I did read the FAQ, it doesn't explain this. It does tries with a retarded theory to explain moon eclipses, but what I'm talking about here is the all year long phenomenon of the moon going from new to full every month, not something that happens very rarely.
You'd be surprised how few questions are answered here.

What do I have, well let us look through history.  We have the length of all the Russian Modules launched to the Moon, we have all of our Apollo Missions, we have the length it took Voyager to get to the moon.

That's all you have for us? Some Space Race propaganda? Since space travel is impossible we already know that it's a fact that man has never been to space.

How can you prove your claim that they have?
You mean YOU know its impossible. The rest of the world knows its possible.

I cannot believe there are people who believe the Earth is flat.  The "evidence" they give conflicts with so many Scientific theories that our Expeditions are based in, which have so far proven to be true.  With this logic it shows that the Earth is round and not flat, if the Earth were flat, then we would not need to spend so much to get out into space, why not just fly off the edge?

Hell we could even give you free trips to the moon with it's magical weather that somehow exists when there is no atmosphere.
See what I mean? :)

thats not proof to them. But.. they also don't need proof. They believe in a conspiracy that has 0 proof whatsoever, so...

You want more proof, watch the video feeds from the International Space Station.  They are in High Definition and they show the Earth.
I need no proof. I know the world is round. There are only a handful of FErs left.

Either this guy works for NASA and is therefore a liar, or he doesn't work for NASA and is therefore a liar.  Why even respond to such scum at all?
Proof?

Fact: The earth is flat.
Fact: NASA says it's round.
Conclusion: NASA is lying.
I said proof.

Why do you perpetuate the myth that only flat earth advocates think NASA is conspiratorial in nature?

Never did I say they were the only ones that accused NASA of conspiracies. Infact plenty of people accuse them of many things, but there is often proof of it. In this case, FErs need there to be a conspiracy, otherwise their theory falls dead flat. Thats why they refute any evidence presented by NASA. Because every bit of it blows their theory right out of the water.

12
Welcome to FET. It's poorly constructed and varies with everyone, and relies 100% on there being a conspiracy. Infact.. they don't have proof of a conspiracy, only assume there is a conspiracy because of that crappy book of theirs.

I know you're using IE. I was saying that FF does it, and there are pluggins for IE.

Only idiots need spellchecker anyway. When I spell things wrong its only because I'm either drunk or I don't care.
Spellcheckers need loving too

I haven't slept in four days, deal with it. Stop getting off topic and prove it moron.
The sleep deprivation is getting in the way of my proof. Btw, spellcheck requires no sleep. Look into it.

There is no spell check that I can see.

Depends on your browser. Firefox has spellchecker, apparently.
Yup. Underlines the words in red. Right click for suggestions. There are also pluggins for IE.

I'm using IE, the buttons over the text box thing don't include spell checker for me.  :'(

That would the the spellchecker built into the board software. We're talking about your browser. Firefox spellchecks anywhere I type.

Too bad we can't film it and show it to their mums.

Was that crossing a line or not?
No. Saddam crossed the line for me, but you're ok so far.

Darn. I never get to cross the line. :(
Sorry, he got there first.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Making money off the conspiracy theory
« on: May 01, 2008, 01:09:12 PM »
We seem to have gone off-track here.  Can you respond to this question

It costs much more money to fake going to space than to actually do it.  HUGE profits there; perhaps you can provide some kind of evidence that it wouldn't be more than enough to cover the costs of upkeep?

or do you want to keep changing the subject?
Do a search for the guy who found the 4000:1 ratio. That should help.

Certainly the validity of this point depends on how much it would actually cost to produce and send up pseudolites.  Did he prove that the 4000:1 ratio is valid?
He indicated the cost of a satellite and the cost of a pseudolite yes. However I'd really like proof of the conspiracy before I run the numbers. I don't want to waste my time.

Well you know very well that we can't prove the conspiracy.  If we could, it wouldn't be much of a conspiracy.

You're still going off-topic.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. There is plenty of evidence and 'proof' of alien conspiracies. Why not this one?

What proof that it doesn't bounce off the moon exists? ???

There doesn't need to be any.  The onus is on you to prove that it's possible, not on us to prove that it's not.
Done. your turn ::)

When did you dod that, and if you say to look at your links it just rpoves you are an idiot.
