If you were to draw this to scale, what would happen? The speed of rotation would decrease with regard to scale. The hill-like curve the guy is standing on would flatten out. And the dip would be less pronounced. Scale does not however make an object that is convex concave, nor an object that is concave convex, so whatever shape things look, from the the perspective of the ground to horizon, to perspective of the sky to horizon, to the path of the sun through the course of a day, scale only changes the extremes of things to less extreme. It does not invert things to make them fit your fantasies. And if you think it does, you have done it wrong.
Make zero into 1, using nothing but scale. It turns out with just that, you can't do it. There is an infinite scale before zero to one.

Unlike you, however, I know the historical backstory behind such a film.
You see, back in America's early history, people settled in the mountains of the Appalachian, in Tennessee, Virginia, etc. Because their property was grandfathered in, they owed no property taxes, and were allowed that land by right. But the developers came in to build highways, towns, and railroads, and seeing these people stubbornly keep their family homes, they books and movies that painted these people as ignorant weirdoes who were raised with some weird religious background. These stories were used as a justification for the public cooperating in having them shooed off their land, similar to painting all transgender people as perverts who sneak into bathrooms to molest children. Voters give undue power by what they support and oppose.
No, nobody in small towns that I know of chases newcomers around to have sex with them, any more than they duel on banjos. It's a form of blockbusting, paint the holdouts in a rural community as hicks, and run them off if they stand in the way of development. Just as if I turned 80, I was the last person living in my small town, and they wanted to bulldoze the place to build a line of skyscrapers or shopping malls, they would resort to some sort of method to get me to sell.
If you were a sensible person, you'd understand that I don't want to be bothered, and just want people to be honest in their dealings with me. Bulma. Flat earth has always been smoke and mirrors. Especially that you have to purposely pick pictures that have angles that hide curvature and make false assurances they should show curvature. Just shows you flat earthers like you have no honour. All to avoid the real issues the visible dimensions of the sun do not change to invoke vanishing point in the context of the setting sun, the FE model totally fails on modeling / predicting the actual path of the sun, and you run away from any meaningful discussions concerning the dip of the horizon is a measurable dimension of the earth. Dip of the horizon is accurately calculated using earth’s heliocentric dimensions.

Of course, most Christians know in their hearts that it's all nonsense, or they convince themselves that there's a reason why they're still waiting, or they just dismiss the failed prophecy and try not to think about it. Most Christians, even Bible-believing fundamentalist literalists, accept that the Earth is approximately round (an oblate spheroid with irregular bumps, a "globule," if you will). I don't know what Muslims believe, but I'm pretty sure that most Muslims, like most Jews and Christians, know the Earth is round and that if God or Allah or Yahwe ever existed, they/he/it gave up on the human race a long time ago and is probably off working on a new world somewhere in the Andromeda galaxy. Maybe He/She/It will get it right this time and not mess it up as badly as they did here.
