Who said I was giving up? Tormenting John Boy is its own reward. Normally, I'd feel bad about being mean to the profoundly mentally challenged, but in his case, I am willing to make exceptions.

Disorder of written expression
Disorder of written expression, formerly called developmental expressive writing disorder, is a learning disability in which a person's ability to communicate in writing is substantially below the level normally expected based on the individual's age, intelligence, life experiences, educational background, or physical impairments. This disability affects both the physical reproduction of letters and words and the organization of thoughts and ideas in written compositions.

Symptoms
Symptoms that suggest disorder of written expression include:
  • poor or illegible handwriting
  • poorly formed letters or numbers
  • excessive spelling errors
  • excessive punctuation errors
  • excessive grammar errors
  • sentences that lack logical cohesion
  • paragraphs and stories that are missing elements and that do not make sense or lack logical transitions
  • deficient writing skills that significantly impact academic achievement or daily life.
These symptoms must be evaluated in light of the person's age, intelligence, educational experience, and cultural or life experience. Written expression must be substantially below the level of samples produced by others of the same age, intelligence, and background. Normally, several of the symptoms are present simultaneously.

Prevention
There are no known ways to prevent disorder of written expression.
You are right. He can't help it.

You're the one who is taking 'profoundly mentally challenged' as an insult, John Boy. Anything else you would take as an insult, well, consider it "constructive criticism."
Also, if you are mentally challenged, it's not an insult, it's true. It is akin to saying that calling a person without the use of their limbs a quadriplegic is an insult.

Oh, and Sea Level, continental divides, your theory is nonsense, blah blah blah. I'm waiting on those definitions and routes you promised.
And any actual evidence. Ever.

It's not even appropriate to call it a theory. A theory has to be a well-substantiated explanation repeatedly confirmed through observation and experimentation.
He has offered an explanation, but I wouldn't call it well-substantiated
He has not repeatedly confirmed it through observation or experimentation.

True enough. I should not have used the colloquial use, it will go to his little head. I should have called it a hare brained idea. Or does that come down to harshly on the hares?

You should try it first, John Boy. If anyone's acting like a moron, it's to make you feel more comfortable.
Oh, and yeah, you do insult people, then try and pretend you didn't.

And no, you have not provided any evidence, whatsoever, in any form, that could convince anyone with half a brain that the Americas are an Oceanic Island chain and NOT a continent.

I'm having fun with it, so what if John Boy wishes to portray himself as a completely piss-ignorant fool in his character trolling? At the end of the day what has he done? Given me a laugh and made everyone think he's a moron. So, I feed the troll because he amuses me.

Could you please list your "evidence" in a nice list for us all to see? And try to spell words correctly.

I love it when he says "I dont insut peeple" and in the same sentence says "your a stupit moran" or something like that. ;D It is quite fun to see how stupid (or stupit) this thread will get.

Ever noticed that the rivers in the Americas are so much wider than in Europe and Asia and Africa????? We have great big wide rivers like the Amazon (widest in the world), St Lawrence, missippi. And the reason for this is because they aren't rivers, there part of the Atlantic/Pacific ocean. In a way, the Americas don't exist (as a continent). There a bunch of islands!! The idea of a huge continent not being found until 1492 is ludacris, and they werent found because they were so remote!!!!! You can reach Asia from Europe by sail easily, that is if you cross the right places. People kept on hitting land in the unknown islands and blatantly assumed it was a huge mega-continent. I live in the Americas myself but I know I live one of many islands between Europe and Asia. Try looking at the Erdapfel globe, it will give you a good idea of what the world really looks like (except it shows it as round and not having the noticeable American islands

WOW!!!!!!!!!  :-X ???

... I believe it. Am Erica doesn't exist, because there is no illiterate girl named Erica who introduces herself that way, using "Am" instead of "I am" or "I'm"... I knew something was off about that Erica girl.

She's definately not in a position to discover or name a continent if she can't even introduce herself properly as "IamErica". CAPITAL E!! She even uses tiny e initial for her name! Who calls herself "erica" anyway?

Anyhoo, due to Erica's incompetence I conclude that the land masses named after her poor attempt at self introduction are islands not continents. I can tell she can confuse a river with an Atlantic Pacific ocean easily.

Or should I say ... the Patlanticific Ocean? :P

The different island shells drifted together because of high pressure from the Atlantic and Pacific currents, which forced the island masses together, as they crushed deep under the sea surface, causing narrow beaches to collide and the grand canion. Amd Mount St. Helen's.

These are NOT RIVERS!! They are water masses between islands that were narrowed down gradually when islands pressed together from external causes. This discovery is pure unadulterated hardcore BDSM Brilliance!!

Eye Lurv Eit!!

Since the islands are wider under the sea than they are above see, they could not crash into each other completely forming a larger island, so the water near their beaches remained separated from both beaches, giving the untrained eye the illusion of a 'giant river'.
Indeed, this discovery can be applied to other "continents" as well!! You are of genius!

You are truly of the greatest minds this generation has produceth. Hat tipped to you, Herr Excelsior. #_#//
