Rememberance Day
« on: November 09, 2007, 05:02:06 PM »
I, for one, wear my poppy. And anyone who believes in FE must then believe that all the airborn soldiers who died in WWII were nothing but an advocate of the conspiracy.

Where, in the FE model, does it say that WWII never happened?

Please stop centering on my spelling and on the actual topic. I get really tired when I see somebody just keeps ranting about their 'opponents' spelling because they really don't have a case. FE may have a case. But that's not my point. I never said FErs stated WWII never happened. What I did say was:

"And anyone who believes in FE must then believe that all the airborn soldiers who died in WWII were nothing but an advocate of the conspiracy.  "

Do you not even know of the conspiracies you believe in?

If you are in an airplane, there is an obvious curvature from earth to the sky.

FErs pass these off as photoshopped images. Therefore FErs must believe that all the soldiers who took pictures or videos of them flying, they must be a part of the conspiracy by editing the videos and images.

Addition: You're kidding, right?

(If not, you realize that atomic bomb is about 5x too short, not to mention it flares drastically about the edges. Also, that wouldn't even be considered a mushroom cloud.)

Not one that WWII didn't happen.

If you are in an airplane, there is an obvious curvature from earth to the sky.

Not at commercial flight altitude.

FErs pass these off as photoshopped images. Therefore FErs must believe that all the soldiers who took pictures or videos of them flying, they must be a part of the conspiracy by editing the videos and images.

Err, what?  Why would WWII vids be edited by the conspiracy?

I never heard of a war called "World War II". I only heard it was the name of a movie.

They were flying relatively low and usually at night.

No airplane flies high enough to see the curvature of the earth. Check your research, chief.

ww2 happened.
Yes, as a movie. I actually watched it twice.

Don't get confused by the term "World War". It's not really a war of the world, but a war in a movie.  Hollywood must've made the movie realistic enough to convince people that a second world war really did happen.

Adolf Hitler and Nazism are all fictional.

It doesn't, and it should be dropped on this type of forum. I am copying and pasting my response to this from another thread also and I find this distasteful not only because of my KNOWLEDGE of the past, but because of it's irrelevance to these forums.

:

Well, I hate to do this as I'm normally try to be a polite and objective person, however I am quite certain that World War II did in fact occur, and I find it rather frustrating fro you to have an American eagle as your Avatar, and "fly" the American flag with your signature, and claim otherwise.

Thousands upon thousands of lives were lost. You don't even have to account for the Holocaust numbers to see this.

How many people lost family members? How many fathers and grandfathers never came home? How many came back with wounds, minus limbs, minus their sanity?

All of this just discussing American military men. The tip of the iceberg. I don't care what your beliefs are on who did what to who, or whether or not this or that in particular happened during the war... but did it happen?

I sadly hope this is just a rant to get at people - and if so, congratulations because I remember my Grandfather's and his brother's turmoil after they came home from the war. My Grandfather minus his left eye and his luster for life. (I failed to mention in my previous post... his brother never came back at all, aside from a small box with what was left of him that is!!!! My God man... are you serous?!?!?!?!?)

You sir are an abomination to our great country such as the state it is in, and I truly believe it is because of people like you, and the people that rally around you - and others that carry similar causes or cases against our country like this, that we keep in-fighting rather than coming together on issues and making decisions necessary to keep our Nation whole rather than divided as it is rapidly becoming.

I am sorry to have been so personally blatant, but it is a very sore subject matter for me and I accept whatever response you or anyone else feels necessary. I stand by my knowledge of important happenings in our families and countrymen, and those that sacrificed themselves to give us our freedoms we still have. Such as this forum.

Interwebz: Serious business.     ::)

Quote: Even if I was to stop playing Gmod (which I did for a few months), I'd still run the community for the benefit of the other people. InterWebz.net was a prime example. I probably set foot in the servers about once a month, but I still ran it and paid for half of it (Donations <3) because there was an interest from the people that mattered. Granted in the end, it died because the interest ran out. [owner of now defunct Interwebz.net]

--- what does Interwebz forums have to do with anything here?

Yes well, I may be a "n00b" to this particular forum, but unless it takes paragraphs to do so, it would probably be better to give a nice brief explanation than simply brush off knowledge that would help people understand your point of view. Otherwise... in most cases it's easy enough to quote or post a link. No need to be sarcastic to someone trying to reason out your concerns.

Take care,
John
