Is bulma saying losing tons of money is preferable to using a simple online calculator to do a simple calculation?

Progressive taxes "work" by assigning tiers to income. But ultimately, such things do not work. Why not?
Suppose I have $9,999 and I'm being charged 10% or $999.90 but suppose my friend makes $10,001 and they bump him up to the next threshold of "people who earn over $10,000." And he pays 25% of his income because this is the next tier up (usually it isn't, they have about eight or ten tiers so this works more gradually, but it still arbitrarily bumps, making people work to earn just under the threshold to keep more of their own money). For having $2 more, he pays about $2500 instead.
If tax were flat, he would be treated the same as anyone else. He'd pay $1000.10 instead.

FUCKING FINALLY!
Multiple people, multiple times, have tried to explain this to you. Apparently you have reading issues and can only figure things out when you force yourself to do the math yourself. Geeze, you have have been a pain in the ass to teach in school.
Anyone who knows anything about taxes knows how this works. Hence the insane amount of frustration I felt when discussing this with you.
As for flat vs progressive...
Yes, it's cheaper. It brings in less revenue to the government. Now, do some math and figure out what would the flat tax need to be if you kept the same income level as progressive taxes.

The pier does not reach the horizon. Which, contrary to Moana, you can't really do. The horizon stretches on a long infinite line. If you go east or west, exactly what you see is a perfectly straight line that you can build connecting roads or bridges between every continent or island in the world. The pier appears to pierce (say that out loud) the horizon but it comes short.
This is how the world operates. If you go east or west, you go in a circle, but anything you've build appears as a straight line. If you head north, you go to the center. If you go south you go outward.
You think it's a sphere, because you think north south loops. But it is like this dart board, except there is probably not an edge. It keeps continuing outward.

As for that bit about sexism, Western society (unlike Eastern) has increased the rights of women. They have right to vote, hold property, work at their choice of job, and the only political office not yet claimed is president. LGBT people received record rights and privileges. The problem is, we have a bunch of entitled pricks who have in recent times managed to undo some of their better rights. Like feminists and gays wanting to support Islam.
