Child pagaentry is what the good ole US is all about.  You (or in this case your child) must be number 1.  If it takes botox, child abuse or even murder for that to happen than so be it.  I love it.  Who said 8 year olds shouldn't be put in competition?  This is how the real world works.
i dont think it has anything to do with the US, in fact i read somewhere the mother is British.  its just that some parents are crazy and have no business raising children.

At first glance it looks like Florida just outlawed sex as humans are animals, too:
Quote
An act relating to sexual activities involving animals; creating s. 828.126, F.S.; providing definitions; prohibiting knowing sexual conduct or sexual contact with an animal; prohibiting specified related activities; providing penalties; providing that the act does not apply to certain husbandry, conformation judging, and veterinary practices; providing an effective date.

But the definitions almost specifically targets CR90:

"828.02 Definitions."In this chapter, and in every law of the state relating to or in any way affecting animals, the word 'animal' shall be held to include every living dumb creature"
What is wrong with you spaghetti?
Leave cr90 alone. Would you say that to his face? If not don't say it here.
Why these personal attacks.

Somebody obviously can't take a joke.

Another thing that's kinda funny is that veterinary practices are exempt from this law. So if it has a medical benefit, you can still fuck your dog.

Or stick your arm into a horse  ;)

Any chance of gettng my watch back Daisy.
is that guy handcuffed to something?

There is also video.
Though apparently the images are not pleasant to look at and therefore may cause more harm than good.
There are those of us who have seen worse things than a Middle Eastern dude with a bullet hole in his face. The government shouldn't decide whether or not we see the pictures because some people might get grossed out. Last time I checked I'm an adult and I can decide whether or not to look at a picture on the internet.

It's less the "OMG kids might see it and it's gross" and more "Muslims riot when someone draws Mohommed. They'll probably riot for showing pictures of a disfigured Osama too. ". It should seem disrespectful to them, even if they didn't like him.

They make videos of our soldiers when they behead them slowly. They are offended by the drawing of mohammed because of a fringe book added to their religion later on. Religiously the pictures of him are none offensive.
I'd agree with you, but it's not the morality or the justification or even the "they do it so why can't we".  It's the "We don't wanna piss them off anymore then they are already."  As much as they hate us, antagonizing them and giving our enemies more ammunition to use in their propaganda against us isn't going to help anyone.
And if I had to choose between angering one Arab and angering one American I'd choose the American only because he's less likely to injure me.

i think we should show it just to prove we aren't afraid of pissing them off.  they already hate us, and they will take any opportunity to attack they get, showing it or not showing it isn't going to change that.  we should show it and put a sign under it that says "This is what happened to the last motherfucker that messed with us."
The extremest but not the majority.
This is to keep the majority who don't like us but aren't ready to do anything about it from getting so angry that they decide to do something about it.

Like a moderate republican who suddenly joins the tea party.
i really dont think showing a picture of a dead guy is going to piss people off who aren't already pissed off at us.
It's not a dead guy, it's a disfigured dead guy.

Let me ask you this:
What do you think the US would say if we showed the body of JFK in his casket.  You know, open casket.  Complete with skull and brain fragments?
not much considering they show the video where you can see his head explode on TV every anniversary.  its not like this would be the first time we showed a disfigured dead body on TV.

Oh come on, if Bush was still in office when this happened you'd be giving him credit.
i'm giving him credit and he's not in office, but i also give Obama credit.  you have to give Obama some credit for this, but its stupid to act like Obama gets all the credit.  Bush and Obama both get some credit for this, but the CIA and the navy seals should be the ones who are being praised for this.

oh man, i hadn't heard that Obama was the one who actually shot him, thats crazy.  i had thought that the CIA was following a lead that they originally got at Gitmo back during Bush's time in office, and had just recently traced it all the way to Bin Laden.

Or as a cover for there being a lack of a body.

>second

What an instant confirmation that this is a hoax.  They were kind of sloppy with this one doing it all so fast, but it at least confirms that the white house and the major media work for the same people.  There is more truth to be found in Dustin Hoffman's 'Wag the Dog' than in the announcements of hacks like Barack Obama and Brian Williams.
Surely you of all people are aware of Islamic burial customs?

So why is this an easy to spot hoax?

People don't let things like beliefs and customs get in the way of creating conspiracies.

Also major Edit.
AmericaObama, Fuck Yeah!
Give credit to where credit is due.

Second Edit.

Berny
Forgot to put in his tag.
D'Oh

if you are giving credit where credit is due then you need to include many more people than just Obama,  mainly the CIA and the military personnel who were actually putting together all leads and who eventully went in and killed him.

This is what I'm getting from the official report: He was hiding in a big ass mansion/compound practically next door to a Pakistani army barracks, shot by yanks (not the Pakistani troops who were next door) who performed a DNA test over the course of a day, and then dumped him in the sea due to a need for a quick burial (despite the fact that he fucking miles from the sea). Next time America, troll harder.

you can believe Obama or not, but at least i'm not hearing anymore about that stupid royal wedding, and for that i'm thankful.

Also:
DNA results already?
We buried him at sea within 24 hrs?

Very interesting.

Prove that DNA results can't be done within a week.
he wasn't killed a week ago, he was killed sunday morning.

Now taking bets: how will the democrats spin this to make it look like Obama was the one who led the raid and pulled the trigger?

WTF is all this throwing a bone shit about?

If you succeed by standing on the backs of others, is it so unreasonable to throw them a bone?

just following his lead

Also, what does how hard a person worked for his/her money have to do with paying taxes?

nothing, everyone should pay their fair share no matter how hard they worked.

19

You called it a loophole that the top percentile pay less than the rest of us, and those elitists are who I am proposing we should tax in the first place. It is my subject of conversation and you dismissed it as a loophole and then proceeded to give other irrelevant examples of what you deem to be loopholes. If you consider it a loop hole I suppose you concede that their taxes should be raised?  ???

like Wardogg said, one man's loophole is another man's deduction.
We both agreed it was a loophole.

Quote
to me GE used some major loopholes to be able to pay $o.oo in taxes this year after earning billions in profit, but they didn't break any laws (as far as we know).  that needs to be fixed, there is no logical explanation for them not paying any taxes.  to me the super wealthy being able to hire accountants and lawyers to reduce their taxes down to almost nothing is wrong.  so yes i am for increasing taxes on  the wealthy if they are using loopholes to to not pay their fair share (not all wealthy people do this).
cool.

Quote
and the percentage that the wealthy pay should not be more than the percentage that the poor pay, it should be the same, otherwise it wouldn't be their fair share.
A King's wealth is derived more from his people than himself. It is his occupational position that grants him a high rate of pay with relatively minimal work. Assuming he had worked to become king (to fit with an analogy of captains of industry), should he still deprive the poor and hungry of a small fraction of his money or does his elitist position come with an innate responsibility to his people?

If you succeed by standing on the backs of others, is it so unreasonable to throw them a bone?
assuming i was only throwing a bone to those who have helped me achieve my success, like my workers if i owned a business then i could see your point.  however thats not how the system works.  my tax dollars could go to anyone through some social program so therefore i'm not throwing a bone to those who helped me become successful, i am throwing a bone to whoever the gov't sees fit to receive a handout.

Philosophy, Religion & Society / Re: Hungarian Mothers' Vote
« on: April 19, 2011, 08:18:49 AM »
In Hungary, a change in the voting system is being proposed which would give mothers an extra half-vote for each child. The aim, according to MEP J?zsef Sz?jer is to give a voice to the 20% of the country's population who are children.

What do you think? A good idea to get the youth motivated in politics or a cynical move by a right-wing government to get more of the traditionally conservative mother's vote?
bad idea, one person one vote.  it would do nothing but give mothers a more powerful voice than the rest of society.  they are more than likely not going to even ask their children who they would want to vote for, and the children probably wouldn't have a clue who to vote for anyways.

According to this report, the Health Care law is to blame for everything.

And they even have the audacity to talk about how our system is broken and needs fixing.  Where the HELL were they 5 years ago?  Why didn't anyone fix it sooner?
The same people currently fighting against the democrats are the same people who have been in power and have done or proposed... nothing.
thats the problem with the republican party, they don't fix anything when they are in power.  they get elected by telling us how bad everything is and how they will do great things, then they get into power and don't do a dang thing.  its frustrating.

We need to stop wasting money on:

1. The military.
2. Giving money to 3rd world countries that no one gives a dick about.
3. Outsourcing our shit to China and India.

And, we need more Mexicans. Yes you heard me. More.
i agree, we could cut so much military spending and not weaken our defense at all.  i love the military and i am proud to have served but there is way too much wasteful spending going on in the military.

i'm all for more mexicans as long as they come legally.

i liked the commercial, it is actually a good strategy to remind people of your opponents shortcomings.  however i would like to see more of what republicans plan to do instead of focusing on obama's failures.

Like defunding Planned Parenthood, Medicaid, food programs for the poor, and education?
don't believe everything you hear on MSNBC, they aren't defunding education, that is ridiculous.  trying to cut some spending where they can so we dont collapse seems pretty reasonable.

you probably won't have any problem at the border, but some bars will keep the ID if they dont think it is yours.  not a big deal as long as your brother doesn't care that you might lose his ID.

I'm supposing that you know that estate and inheritance taxes, both federal and most states, already take a hefty bite out of this wealth and I am also supposing that you know that it's on wealth that has already been taxed once when it was earned?  I'm again supposing that you think these rates should be more; if so, what rates and/or exclusions do you advocate?
I don't have a formula to optimize the numbers, but for the sake of argument I can throw out a random one.
Let's say the children are given... 10 percent of the original total.
what about things other than money?  inheritance can be land, homes, businesses, etc.  should the gov't take 90% of that or only if its money?
