We're all still alive so far, right? I still feel alive. Am I really here, or do I just think I am?
Are you a human dreaming of being a penguin, or a penguin dreaming of being human?

Well, you're Boydster, so if you are alive, it won't be for long as you'll get lynched.

I've still not reached the required number of intrepid scientists to guarantee the safety of all who enter, so I shall put a red shirt on the still semi-conscious Crouton and push him through the door first.

I added the second chance thing specifically for Boydster.
He died first last time and will likely die again first this time.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but when is the exact time of the day/night cycle change.

Also https://www.sendtric.com/  for a countdown timer.

Chris Spaghetti is supposed to add the timer when the game started but he's gone off so we'll have to get Boydster or SCG to edit in the timer.
The timer will be Pacific time as I live in Oregon.
Also, yes it is day still.

So I haven't figured out how to get the timer to show as an image yet but here's this for now.
When the timer hits "0" then day 1 has ended.

I'm going to do my best to stand on my hands and make my way to the nearest tavern where I will order a Foster's.

I'll join you at the Tavern for a Foster's, but I'll also have a Vegemite Sandwich and listen to some Down Under by Men At Work.

I'm the narrator but I can still be in the game.
I just can't vote or anything as it would be unfair as I know who has which role.
Alexey sees Shifty and NSS in the tavern. The lads started drinking and start acting like the little wankers they are.

I believe the word you are looking for is 'larrakin'. It's easy to get it confused for wanker

The flight manifest (that may have been modified to add two names to, but details) I saw lists:
Gotham, Crouton, Jura-Glenlivet, Slime, Wolvaccine, Boydster, Junker, Notsoskeptical, SCG, Gayer

The only people I haven't seen are Junker, who probably will be quiet, and Gotham. Am also not convinced Boydster isn't a penguin in a fleshsuit, and that Crouton isn't a particularly vivid shared hallucination, so possibly add them to the list.

Jura had been on more missions than she cared to remember and this had all the hallmarks of a shitshow, there's a tavern, in Antarctica, but no mention of the missing scientists, the clocks are set to Portland time, but don't work and the tour guide is a kid with the attention span of a hummingbird.

We may need to take over!

Just an fyi.  I have not received a role yet so I'm in a werepenguin/human superposition now.  But I want you all to know that even if I am a werepenguin I would still be dedicated to the success of the council.  Depending on your definition of success I suppose.

Well I promise I'm not, and I'd really rather not make another failed attempt at managing a ghost council if that's OK with you

ultimately it wasn't his fault the horrible defeat last time, it was those like Junker who couldn't be arsed to vote and Wise for making it such a chore, but Boydster still bears the scars, we should grant his wish to be spared.

Alexei,

Let me know who the Werepenguin chooses to kill and I'll write the next chapter.

I'll write the bit where the person who chooses to get killed gets killed if I'm here.
You have access to the group DMS between the werepenguins and us so if I'm not here (which I likely won't) then you can see who they decided to kill
