The Lounge / Re: question for the engineer

I'm angry because your dumb and despite the countless times that it has been proven that the earth is flat on here you still cling to your stupid believe that round earth is a relegion? what the fuck dude that doesn't even make sense. its a fact not a religion.

are you serious? where did you graduate from elementary school? I believe anything that was written in the 1800's school? maybe? I was there once... very Gullible people there believe it or not.

does your employer know that you think the earth is flat? if he does how do you still have a job? or does he just owe you cuz he had sex with your blow up sex doll that you pretend is your wife?

no i'm calling his equation stupid because it was used by you, making it -1000 cool

Flat Earth Q&A / fisheye = bs
« on: March 18, 2007, 03:05:28 PM »
even if the government was using a fisheye lense wouldn't the north pole still be in the center of the world? according to the FE model anyway.

and what about the never-ending ice thing that you substitute for antarctica wouldn't that be in there somewhere too?

your equation is stupid.

you can't continually accellerate without surpassing a certain velocity

Flat Earth Q&A / formation

how, according to the FE model, was the earth formed?

and how is the atmosphere kept stable if there is no gravity.

if the acceleration was constant then yes we would eventually surpass the speed of light. and if acceleration was at 9. something something m/s/s then we allready would have.

the engineer is an idiot.

if you can't come up with an answer don't post, instead of trying to poke fun at spelling errors that don't exist.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: any explanation then?
« on: March 17, 2007, 02:24:46 PM »
yeah its not like they would have to fool anyone by going in a curve its counter-intuitive to curve when you are trying to find the fastest route to a location

Flat Earth Q&A / ice wall
« on: March 17, 2007, 02:23:03 PM »
it is impossible for ice on a sizeable lake to go all the way to the bottom and freeze everything. after a while it starts to act as an insulator and keeps the rest of the water from freezing. thats how the fish can stay alive in the winter and its what makes ice fishing possible.

so how then would the ice wall hold in all the water from the oceans?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: experiments
« on: March 17, 2007, 11:14:53 AM »
so how many of you FEers have actually done these experiments in person and found these experiments to be true personally? well regardless that still doesn't explain how you came up with the sun being 3000 miles away or being 32 miles in diameter.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: experiments
« on: March 15, 2007, 07:14:47 PM »
ok I read the stupid online book since none of you apperantly knew how to at least cut and paste or were just to lazy to do so and I will now proceed to point out flaws in his experiments

he only did his experiment over the distance of 6 miles! the earth isn't a perfect sphere it has many ups and downs on the surface but thats irrevelent anyways because he did his experiment in a canal! which is manmade by the way. and to top that off the surface of water will automatically level itself off and 6 miles is not a significant enough distance to have any visible curve the circumference of the earth is 24,859.82 miles.

and in #3 as I said before he is only doing his experiments over 6 miles and he thinks he will see a drop of 6 feet in each direction!

explain that one too me.

i never said it has to be simple I just said it has to have a result thats attainable and repeatable.

I'm gonna bump this to the top everyday until I get an answer.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: experiments
« on: March 14, 2007, 07:53:24 PM »
ok since there's only 15 experiments why don't you describe a couple on here for me...."for christs sake!"

so your saying that since you read the book you then know that they are right about everything. I read a book about spontanious generation... oh guess that means thats true too. you know, since I read it.

and for the last time quit telling me to read the book! just type a little bit for me sheesh. if you would have started explaining before you could be done by now.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: experiments
« on: March 14, 2007, 07:28:51 PM »
the whole purpose of this was to get a response that wasn't "go look at such and such a book" I wan't real answers.  ::) if your too lazy to provide me with at least 1 credible experiment that can be done today with repeatable results, thats your fault. you have to question the crediblitly of these books as well. lets not forget that the people who wrote these books and did experiments in the 1800's were simply self proclaimed scientists with little credibility to begin with. (you didn't even need to go to school to become a surgeon as early as the 1800's!!) and they thought that there were sea monsters, and the best way to cure someone of a sickness was to make them bleed alot. not to mention their theories on spontanious generation, which was also a widley accepted scientific theory back then.

so you have to ask yourself, should I really be believing everything these people say?

what experiments can be done today with repeatable results that prove the earth is flat, prove the sun is 32 miles in diameter, and prove the sun is 3000 miles away. (don't blow me off this time!)

still waiting for your answer tom.

Flat Earth Q&A / experiments
« on: March 14, 2007, 03:45:03 PM »
tom since not everyone owns "earth not a globe" can you please enlighten us with your "experiments" that you did that proves the earth is flat. go into as much detail as possible. and include how you found out the sun is 32 miles in diameter, and that its 3,000 miles away. even if you didn't do the experiments yourself copy the info from one of your books.

don't even try to tell me you don't have enouph time to do that you are on here all the time.

don't ask me "what experiments have you done?"

don't tell me to read "earth not a globe."

don't tell me to read the faq.

don't sidestep this question with some scrambled rambling.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: seasons?
« on: March 10, 2007, 07:15:01 PM »
in the philosophers diagram the sun revolving like that wouldn't have as profound effects on the season as it does in the round earth (the real earth) and the sun would be shining on the entire world all the time even if it was just 32 miles in diameter because, I don't know if flat earthers know this but, the sun is quite bright. tom should know this more than anyone he's the one that keeps telling everyone to look out there window.....which by the way doesn't prove anything I'm confused as to why he keeps saying that.

that doesn't explain why the northern and southern hemispheres experience opposite seasons

Flat Earth Q&A / seasons?
« on: March 10, 2007, 01:23:08 PM »
how do you explain seasons in the flat eath idea? why is it warm in the northern hemisphere when it is cold in the southern? and vice versa.

bending light doesn't cut it

hey "RE for sure" I thought your expanation of the earth that was a cylinder with two balls was a good one I don't know why they blocked it.......makes more sense than RE and FE combined.

I don't know who you are but you must be incredibly attractive
